You need to have a 2ltr flywheel clutch plate and disc. If the 2ltr disc is different then you can probably use the 1.6 clutch plate. Starting off with a 5spd is a much better idea. Astron 2.6 FTW my friend. Stuff the 1600... its a nice motor but its lacking about 1ltr of capacity. A standard 2.6 wont break boxes and diffs in a galant. Unless youve locked the diff and are runnning race rubber.... Will be good for a high 15second 1/4 mile and will be faster than average v6 commo...

I have one of these in my back yard that needs some front panels, just cant find any!!!! Seems the ones that end in wrecking yards are usually stacked in the front.
