Re: new addition to the back yard - GE
Shuggy, I've got the proper GE service manuals if you ever need to borrow em or look something up (there are 4 volumes). much more detail than Gregory's.

Re: new addition to the back yard - GE
just drop a 2.6 and gearbox in and see what the paint looks like after a buff. That should do until your other project is complete.
Afterwards you can decide if you still feel like doing the rally thing or not.
I like the 2-tone blue-silver look with those decals -would look great with some Simmons.

Re: new addition to the back yard - GE
nice GE shuggy.
you should try and keep it intact- not many good GEs around anymore.
If you do part it out then I would LOVE that front grill and bumper though!

Re: GK Sigma SE Wagon
where exactly is the AFR measured? Could there be a leak or some issue beyond that point?

GE to GN wagon suspension
Anyone know if the sigma wagon steering/suspension changed when they went from GE through to the GJ/GK/GN? The sedans definitely did but not sure abt the wagons.

Re: Why did you buy a Sigma, Galant or Lancer?
In ye olde days, when I was practicing to get my drivers' license in my dad's manual VB commo, i was finding it a bit hard going. Later when I got to drive my wife-to-be's manual GE sedan, i found it so much better to drive. So later when i was finishing up uni and needed a car to look for work with...

Re: what wheels will fit my sig??
I might be interested in those if you want to sell (I've PMed you) they look like bigger shinier versions of the standard 13in cheviot mags that are on my GE wagon.

Extractors- Pacemaker vs others
Anyone out there have had experience with different branded extractors for the astron? Ebay has 3 different brands for sale with Pacemakers significantly more expensive. What do you get for the extra money? Also if i understand correctly; extractors help decrease exhaust back-pressure? does this cau...

Re: How did you find Sigma-Galant.com?
been circling around since the 4G forum days -is that 6yrs ago or more? then donated some cash when there was a push to get the sigma-galant domain name -but didn't hang around too much longer after that when i became sigma-less. I am now re-sigmafied. Hmm maybe i should change my username to 're-si...

Also would like a set of Globe Montego rims (AKA Wherret rims) - actually i...

Re: G'day from WA
Thanks guys, yeah, i prefer the GE too- specifically the SE model though I prefer the GL front end which I'm sure is the original as the designer intended -the SE front end looks a bit like 'some-one else's' idea to me. So i'm on the look out for a bumper and grill from a GL. Thought i saw new old s...

G'day from WA
Hi All, I'm from Perth -any other Perth people out there? I used to frequent sigma-galant back in the old days when i had my golden-brown 78 sigma wagon (my first car). For a while i also had a blue 81 GH sedan with holden V6. So I've been sigma-less for about 3 or 4 yrs.. until 2 days ago when i bo...
