Re: Mick's LA75 Lancer
Howdy all, Thinking about getting rid of this car and just after some opinions on pricing? Has been garaged for some time and I just dont seem to get much use out of it any more. Required rockercover gasket and one brake line for it to be running. Of course it has run out of rego, so if you want it ...

Re: STOLEN LANCER PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have the cash, or can raise it, might be worth while putting up posters for a reward. I know its a long shot, but the idiots who did this, if their mates found out they could get some money out of providing information to you it may work.

Fix few niggling problems
Decided to fix a few niggling problems leading up to Wakefield. Have never been to happy with the location of the water pump. Not only did it look ugly but also made a hell of a racket when the pipes hit the car. Also found the annoying exhaust leek. Two bolts snapped out of five, attaching the turb...

Re: What elec fuel pump? suggestions wanted
I have been running the 'Davies Craig' water pump (EWP80 (12V) ELECTRIC WATER PUMP - PART No: 8005) for over five years now without any problems. For that time its just been running flat out once ignition is on. I have heard problems with these units crapping out and failing, but so far no such prob...

Yes, Nice, very nice. Twas one location I was thinking of mounting. Just don't think the Davies Craig Pump would be such a nice slim line fit.

Factory Radiators
Howdy,
Has anyone come across any factory, alloy, radiators that look like they may come close to fitting in the lancer/galant engine bay? The closest i have been able to find is off an excel.
any ideas?
cheers,
Mick

Flares and front Diffuser
Howdy, Just wondering if anyone might have any knowledge on flares and Front diffuser that fit the LA lancers. I had a search on the old forum site and noticed both members, SIR and Big26L, made mention of these items. Any ideas on what fits, where to get and prices would be appreciated. Cheers, Mick

Re: 10th and 11th July 2010 Wakefield Park Raceway - Regularity
I had a look at a similar 6 hour at Winton Raceway and I saw what you are talking about, with crew advising drivers, with use of an arrow to speed up or slow down. I think thats a good idea. I just hope my car handles the temperatures, I am assuming this will be its and most cars weakness. Cheers, M...

Re: Jap 5 speed "noise" - What is it? and, How do I cure it?
I ripped one apart a month or two ago, cost me about $450 in bearings.
My suggestion would be if gears are damaged, just get a 2nd hand box or reco box.
But if it is just bearings may be worth the while repairing.
Cheers,
mick

Re: Question regarding structual welding
They may look at all the factors in relation to, 'the new car' by this I mean they will want to know the chassis number, engine number axle number. So it will be a bit of a mix mach exercise, but it will account on their records for the two vehicles. Would be best to get in contact with RTA, as help...

Lathe I could use - Central Coast
Howdy, Just wondering if anyone has knowledge of someone who has a lathe, near the Central Coast, that I could use for a day. would only need to be a small hobby lathe for what I require it for. Something about 400mm between centers. Just need to shorten a half shaft axle by 5mm. cheers, mick 043843...
