Re: Who owns a poojero? MAster cylinder questions

I have brought a pajero master, DB1762, 15/16th's diameter. Its for a disc brake rear (going disc rear anyway) It's not a direct bolt onto the factory lancer booster, but with a bit of work should fit. I'm hoping that the smaller cylinder will up the hydraulic leverage and work better? I'm assuming ...

Who owns a poojero? MAster cylinder questions

Hey, Ive been led to believe that mitsubishi pajero master cylinders are a direct bolt on upgrade to a stock LA lancer brake booster.... This is just a rumour I've heard over at performance forums.. From a bit of research, they all seem to be 15/16ths bore size, and they come in cast steel (earlier ...

Re: Sigma Overheating.... Ahhhh!

when the gauge is reading higher than normal (like in pic) put a thermometer in the radiator, wouldnt expect it to be more than 85-90 degrees. If one hose is cold then the water isnt circulating, most likely a blockage somewhere.

grow up and get back in you're box. LS1's are far more powerfull than 1uz-fe engines, go back to school. Put down the keyboard, warrior. VVTi 1UZ has 224kw standard Your average LS1 has 225kw standard I'd hardly call that "far more powerful," would you? Edit: And even if they were "f...

Re: My La Lancer! 1974

Hey mate ill reply here in your thread instead to your PM! You will need a TN-TP magna intake manifold wiring loom etc for the conversion, TR-TS intake is too wide and will foul the strut tower. Now the next challenge is you have a Astron 1 series engine. All EFI magna's are a series 2 astron engine...

Re: TUFSIG, GK GSR 2.6 EFI Turbo

Arrgh, no LS1! The one in my aunt's VX Calais has barely 100k on it, gets driven like a grandma and still pisses oil out all over the place :@ There are far, far better engines out there for similar money. If we're talking V8's, 1UZ>all IMO. The later VVTi engines push out the same power as an LS1 ...

Re: OK, so what would you do, 2.6 or 2.4?

flat tops, high compression, speak to some engine builders about the highest you can run on 98 octane or e85... 11.5:1, efi with a cheap aftermarket ecu and some good tuned length extractors, might crack 100kw

Yeah, not sure which way to go with the fuel system yet. I would still like to use the full system and just use a regulator, then I dont have to ef' around with it later on down the track. The pump should be fine, I have been doing some reading and most stock efi systems only run 7-10psi and factor...
