Re: LA Lancer 4g63T EVO 2 swap
There is no manifold that fits ! All the after market ones dont clear the bonnet The best "option " / way around it would be what jimmy g did on his galant (best option is look at his thread) But he used the factory manifold and made a "adaptor"to high mount the turbo No offense ...

Re: put oil on head bolt threads?
Actually it can hurt
If you use to much it will create hydraulic pressure and can crack the block
You suppose to use "international compound" or assembly grease and a very small quantity

Re: Another astron build
Thanks for the offer
But problem is that a magna is only 8.2
Im going to fit flat tops and using a m5 head but factory it measures 74.5 cc so there's going to be a shitload of welding to make the comp cambers small enough to make 11 to 1

Yeah enough room for a fat chick to swing a a cat to precise And yeah thinking put the cooler inside the intake that way we dont need a barrel cooler Be most cost effective , and you can still put a front mount on for super crispy cold intake air , and yeah the hot side is just going to a lot of pip...
Re: Maverick
So today I took some bits and pieces up to trail fit to get a Guage for how much room there is , was quite surprised there's heaps of room , but the intake I had started is now in the scrap bin and plans for something new and different , as theres way more room in a lc than I remember there being in...

Re: GH with a EVO ix 4G63 engine
I'd be keen to see some more pics of this  I'd also be keen to hear more about what's needed to install an Evo 9 motor. Everyone here that I've seen seems to stick to the early Evo motors. Dave... Most people have opted for evo 1-3 vr4 as the blocks is narrow or wide and cheap enough to b...
