So why not look at putting a v6 into it like the one you like , its been done
Or I reckon and 4g63 twincam with webers and a msd would look right in the engine bay if done well

Yes its front heavy ,67-33 But theres still a heap of bits and pieces , hoping to come back to 60-40 but I think I will struggle to get there By the way do people want more pics of parts as there getting made or to much info allready And making the extractors and exhaust what do you guys think singl...

So corner weights came out ok , still only weights 832 kg But it is still quite bare , no interior and so on !
Putting it on the suspension dyno and checking the front and rear geometry was a terrible idea !
Now I have to decide whether to reinvent the wheel or just leave it

Might be well worth sorting out your hydraulic clutch setup/ pedal box while you have easy access vir that nice big hole. The joy of spending hours upside down under the dash with your ribs being crushed on the sill is...........Well lets just stay it's taxing at best. Then again I might just be so...

My suggestion is to make a set of backing plates and send them to DBA they will put any compound you want for cash
This is what we normally do for club racers and rare cars

I wonder if all this fabrication is needed in a Sigma ? :think: the way that im doing my conversion, when finished it will be right and work nicely Im trying to get the best possible weight distribution and still be able to pull full lock , big brakes a proper lsd , decent size rubber and air con ,...

Lets be honest , im probably doing it the hard way but its the way I roll ! But only one way to prove the v6 , and remember that the la is the smallest engine bay out of the range And theres only one way to find out if thay fit a sigma , I reckon just as much work without the firewall mod maybe but ...

Take your manifold to a fab shop that can weld aluminum and have the tabs welded on then it will bolt up

So after a little bit of stuffing around, stripped the engine down to a long motor, cut a decent part of the sump out to miss the crossmember Then hung the motor and gbox where I want it be Unfortunately I had to cut a huge part of the firewall and tunnel so there's some serious panel work to add to...

Is yours 63b or 63 bt factory turbo ? The blocks and heads are different
Thats were your 1g small comp chamber head is of , a 63b is non turbo and block is internally different

The colour is Panama green The weight is a good one . On the original NSW rego paper it says 825kg When I weighed it back in 1992 stock as , full of fuel (45lts) it weighed 846kg With the astron turbo , sigma struts brakes and 10" rear drums 8bolt lsd it was 930 But Qld transport claim it weigh...
