be wary of About Times prices, I just bought 4 radiator hoses from Autobarn for less then the price of two of his old repalcement stock ones (he includes a NORS fan belt big deal)

yeah nice but the FACTORY MITSUBISHI cam details have gone, they wernt regrind specs they were factory specs (you posted one guys regrind cam specs there are many cam grinders about )

a std clutch is fine for a std engine unless you abuse the thing.... aftermarket? not that I know of this is a old car no one cares ! :) if the engine is modified you can get button clutch/ hd pressure plate made up but thats more than most guys here spend on the car in total , Any 4/5 speed Galant ...

.... um , I wouldnt go putting that in a kiln its plastic, not enamled ,some sort of epoxy ,use polyester casting resin and fiberglass pigments.

...... pressure check probably, check valve clearances before you dismantle, you might have done it wrong, it will go better with the 2 and a 40 but do you have the cash to rejet/choke the 40? could be in the $hundreds.....you could hold out and fit factory solex's side or down draft.... they turn u...

shouldnt be cam timing or it wont run, could be anything but compression test will tell, dont need to change anything to run unleaded...... been doing it since it came out...... whats a flow check???

...pretty sure there are people out there with moulds, also fairly sure glass isnt legal for any street based competition (rally, hillclimb etc), not sure what the rego geeks think of glass panels these days.

Starion engine is the one you want or youll have to swap exhaust manifold to Starion one or fab one, or find a 2 litre 4G63, nice and light and shorter (fits in better)

... I think they are crap, some may not agree, the Japanese one is the one to get, both are getting old now though, the 4 speed is fine, 5 gears insted of 4 wont make much diference around town.

the chrome insert is not available anywhere at the moment dodgy Phills Rotray will sell you some that definately fits their rubbers but actually doesnt and he then wont refund you so Im not about to recommend him in anyway. It looks like early 80's Toyota Corolla insert might fit but I cant get that...

...from '73 ish anchortron engines were available in the second generation body style, the only workshop manuals here are for our cars which didnt get Anchortrons, other markets did , if you want a manual for one with the other engine look os (but I have seen them on Ebay Oz)
