Re: NSW cruise 24/3/2013 Windsor to Wiseman's Ferry
Supra 5 speed in the sigma decided to pack it in last night, went from a small little knock I've never heard before to what sounded like my tail shaft was banging on the ground within a 5 minute time frame. Just bought another W58 on eBay and should get it back on the road before the cruise.

Re: It's time for another NSW cruise...
Im definitely in..... How about we give people heaps of time and make it the weekend of the 9/10th of march?? Sunday probably better for most people. A drive down the coast to Stanwell tops through the national park is always good, maybe down to Scarborough Hotel??

Re: 4g63 2L DOHC Into a GE
hey, yeah vr4's are 4hundered and something cc but evo one's are 510 or 550.... a fresh/tight jap 5 speed would do the job if your sensible and your engine is relatively mild which would still be heaps of fun....

Re: 4g63 2L DOHC Into a GE
Hey mate, just finishing off my 4g63 gk build. Easiest way would probably be as said a starion bottom end or any 4g63 SOHC engine ie express or some utes I think... From there I would be getting a Mitsubishi rvr head, these run the cam angle sensor the cam gear. Seriously if your keen to do some wor...

Re: any turboed siggies in Syd
hey mate im in sydney too and currently doing a vr4 4g63 conversion to my GK, really not too hard but yeah if your keen on not going over your budget i would leave the internals standard and a standard or similar sized turbo just so you can run a jap 5 speed. Still will have plenty of power, reliabl...

Re: EFI Turbo Astron or 4G63T
i cant see how you can compare a 8 valve single cam engine that was never designed for a performance applications, compared to a 16 valve DOHC engine designed to conquer the world rally championship. Any part you want you can get for it, not to mention the strength of the standard internals or the f...
