Couldnt find any info that helped me. I want to do a remote brake set up on my car, should i go a 1 inch master (same as a VN type commodore) and front discs and calipers off a commodore too? Has anyone put front discs and caliper on to their lancers? I have sigma front struts in my car if that help...

Looking at getting a hilux diff for my car, (LA Lancer 4 door) and just wanted to know if anyone has done this conversion before and if they had any trouble with fitting it? like with the actual size of the diff housing (especially the diffs center).



any help would be greatly appreciated

it was listed in the cars section, all i did to find it was either searched la lancer or 13B (cant remember which one i searched).

But yes, happy to have it back, i thought years ago it was probably pulled apart and neglected. i got the injectors cleaned today, lucky i did them one was rooted.

Does anyone know what the wheels are?..lol..the simmons B45's actually have lots of them bolts around the rim like the V4's and many others have, i have no idea what these ones are ( i actually like them without the bolts)..unless simmons made them with just the star shape centers)..

Yes it was only engineered for the 13B when we used to own it but then was engineered again for the turbo/wheels/front mount intercooler in 2004 in n.s.w Im so happy. There is an LA Lancer for sale on ebay at the moment, but its in victoria, if it were in brisbane i would buy it just for parts...loo...

converting a LA diff to sigma...lol...theres no point...only that the diffs are more available then the lancers...not worth the efforts.

After years of searching to find a good la lancer (to do up as a replica from one we had years ago) its finally over, found a good one owner then a few months later BANG our old one is up for sale. Drove over 1000k's to pick her up, Fully engineered for a 13B Turbo. NEVER ever selling it, SOOOOO luc...

thanks mate, i dont have a heavy foot all the time but would like to not have to worry about blowing it if i do decide to put my foot into it. i would have thought the 2.6 sigma diff would cope...i remember when i had this car going with the stock center i twisted axles by just putting my foot down ...

Got my old LA lancer back, had to drive over 1000k's to pick it up but well worth it, 13BT with full engineers papers..happy as, problem is its still got the same diff from factory. I was thinking of using a sigma diff (same stud pattern, from same family, has discs and came out stock with a 2.6) so...

I know that the sigma brakes are able to be bolted up, i was just wondering if there are any "bigger" front brake upgrabes out there that will fit, (i have searched but its hard enough trying to find pictures of the diffs etc etc from people taking pictures of their cars etc)

the last LA i owned the previous owner said the whoel front end from a sigma (not sure what model) will bolt right into it...subframe and all they reckon.
