Re: kens GC 4g63 sedan - *lots of pics
ive always hated the red paint, never liked the turbo rims on my car either, and the tyre size was all wrong on them. its so much easier to drive and take off in with a smaller diameter tyre on the rear. i have faith in the guy doing the body work. explained to him what results i want etc. removing ...

Re: My GC Hardtop project
i want my vr4 rocker cover looking that shiny. the red is all chipped and flaky so looks ugly. any particular way of polishing them? was thinking just wire wheel on a drill to remove the paint but unsure of polishing techniques

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma
cheers for the advice jason. yeh i didnt like my chances of having stuff miraculously bolt up. i could try steal my mates LCA off his 180 if they are the same as s13 which im assuming they are as same chassis? then can have a go.

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma
i thought 15s should clear the SR brakes fine. so idea is to try fit the s13 strut into the galant. if they dont fit which im sure they wont i will see what parts are causing the issue ad try work out a way around it. then if can actually get the strut mounted up i will try source some CA brakes whi...

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma
he agrees that if any are smaller it will be the CA ones. and he says the CA N/A and CA-T brakes are the same. his 180sx has upgraded to 32 brakes which are larger otherwise would just take my rim to his SR20 brakes :banh: im excited but have low hopes of actually achieving something other than bein...

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma
my mate seems reasonably sure that atleast one of the s13 brakes should fit 14". assuming its the CA for the smaller size engine. i will give this s13 idea a try in the galant in a month or so and see what i can come up with. bit tricky without heaps of spares of s13, sigma, or galant parts to ...

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma
damn that sucks. are the CA18 brakes different to the SR20 brakes i wonder? i could ask my mate and he could prob give me some answers on possible sizes etc. i dont want to have to take off my 14" rims. my mate has the top of the line Teins that they dont sell over here. were on his HH vr4 when...

Re: Rotary or CA18DET into 76 Galant Coupe?
CA is a 1.8 and the SR is a 2.0.... from all accounts the only good thing ive seen/heard of CA's is good bottom end torque. in every other way the SR seems beneficial. its a bit more expensive but worth it if your not doing the rotor. i personally know nothing at all about rotors except their loud a...

Re: Hotwires GD Coupe
i know a qualified painter that does painting on the weekends in his private booth for mates etc. he does cash jobs but he wont do tonnes of prep work coz to time consuming and pain in the ass. if you prep it he would be able to quote you up for it. ive got some training for work in august that will...

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma
this thread offerec so much hope for me :@ im in no way knowledgeable enough to know what components to merge to try and fit stuff. but from this thread the setup id like to run would be s13 coilovers upfront. but i duno if 14" wheels would clear s13 brakes, or if the sigma rotors are interchan...
