Re: Respraying a Sigma
yeah i though about doing that too, but a mate who was a panel beater spray painter pointed out that different temps, different paint/thinners mixtures, different sanding, different air moister can affect your paint finish, so for a decent job doing it all at once is best. But man if you are happy f...

Re: LA diff centres
I actually have a Commadore ute diff that I can get cut down and get an LSD centre for no probs, plus it has stronger axles. But i was hoping not to have to goto the trouble and hoping to keep it lighter. I know it makes more sense to put in a bigger much stronger diff but the extra cost of redrilli...

Re: New to Forum
I agree with stealth, but just check in your state, in NSW I needed an Engineers ok for the 2.6 Which will mean Brake upgrades front, disk rear etc. Maybe the 2.0L to get her back on the road, heaps of em around and cheap. And youll be so stoked to get her on the road and be driving, you wont be cha...

Re: lb 2.6 swap questions
City hunter. Your in the US right, so just grab a starion/conquest 2.6 turbo motor. Blocks are about the same as our 2.6, then just find a aussie magna head for it to replace the yank shit they come with and aussie magna efi gear, use the conquest box(you will need to convert to hydrualic clutch) an...

Re: My sigma turbo (197)
Im pretty sure they came with a quoted 115-118KW, and reading the manual at 20Degrees BTDC But a higher flow exhaust, some boost, amd alittle tweaking will net you alot more. Not forgetting from factory they had to tune them for economy, long lasting, and for drivabilty. some simple mods and tweakin...
