yeh im thinking the same thing. otherwise would be to much black on the car. these rims with all the silver trimmings should look nice. im happy with how deep they look and i like the 2-step dish. doesnt show up as well on the hotwires due to the bowl of the spokes.

ok changed the rims over. turns out they were they same offset. both were +0. so they sit the same in the guards. looking at the pics it would have been nice to have the same size tyre on the front as the rear. they look slightly small to me. i think they should look great on the fresh black paint o...

but ive got a guy interested in the dished rims i have. but im still now keen to see them on the black paint. im trying to get the tyres swapped over on them today so i can see how they sit on the car with red paint. pain in the ass....

na it had a similar colour already on there already so i took it to the painter and just said give me something close enough to this sorry mate

i went a gunmetal type colour on my grill. can have a look in my build thread to get an idea if ya want.

yeh mine had been some in similar fashion. mine was all flaky and had runs in it from someone spraying crap with a can without prep. im not sure on removing paint safely without scratching it. but for painting the car shops sell plastic primer in a can that works if done patiently.

i just dropped mine at the painter with the trimmings removed. $250 and next day and its perfect. he did do some plastic welding on it for me too.

window rubber on order! galant tentative booked in for respray in about two weeks, and mate is dropping off the paint supplies tonight. settled with jet black. im so excited!
