Re: astron turbo in lancer throttle body clearance issues???
This is what i did. Not in a Lancer but in a Galant. The first two are a TP plenum with a TR throttle body, the last one is just a TP plenum. The main thing i am trying to show is have you taken any height out of the plenum as this may give you the clearance you need. http://img268.imageshack.us/img...

Re: My Collection
Yeah, it was pretty fun to drive. Love Adelaide, no restriction's on what ya can drive on L's and P's. Its only a small turbo so boost comes on pretty quick (12psi). Took it out to Mallala Raceway for a couple of practice track days and found that the brakes didnt work too good as ended up in the ki...

The car that started it all... It was a 1.4lt Cyclone 12valve Auto GB Galant. Got it home, ripped the auto out and...

Re: Peter Wherrett Sigma Turbo.
There were 500 Black sets and 1000 Red sets of rims. Black for Turbo, Red for Wherrett. they are usually sold in sets of 4 though for some reason, but having said that they occasionally get sold in a lot of 5. $200-$400 is about the going price for them depending on condition and tyres.

Anyway for a GK
Disc to Hub = 45-55Nm
and Hub to Strut is same as mentioned as before.
NOTE: this information is from a GK manual and does not specify Sedan, Wagon or 2Door.

Re: Whats needed to go EFI?
sorry to hijack the thread but if you put together a 2.6 using all astron 1 parts (head, block etc) but used Magna flat-tops what sort of compression would you get? All Astron 1 Parts and Astron 2 pistons = 11:1 comp ratio. BUT!!! you need to either shave the top of the piston or recess the valves ...

Re: COBWBS 2,6 turbo GA galant
Wish i could get to my GB Galant and start putting it back together. Looks like everything is going to be a very tight squeese. With the converters remove the plastic hose fittings and replace with brass ones. Have seen so many of them fail on mate's cars and the guy who is putting Gas on one of my ...

Re: GE Brake lines?
Go to a brake shop, they will sort ya out. I took my old lines in from the GH Sigma and got two 1 piece fronts made, the body to diff and the the two rear caliper to diff lines made from stainless for $300. The reason i got stainless is i was only going to save about $50 getting them done in rubber.
