Re: Tuff auto conversion
yeah, just means that you have to master the art of weight shift and/or just use the handbrake every single time, if you stick with the auto for drift. If you're just doing it for fun, no problem, but if you're intending to enter comps, the judges don't like it when people use handbrake on ever corn...

i know it was a joke, it just reminded me of some of the stuff I have heard said seriously, so it wasn't specifically aimed at you, just your joke prompted me I prefer manual too, although I am getting lazy these days!

Re: Tuff auto conversion
lol i love how people bag out auto as non cornering cars... they make no difference to cornering ability, unless drifting, and even then they can still be made to work (sorta)... I remember a few years ago some guy was doing pretty well drifting a MK II Toyota with a auto

Re: Diff choices for a GH Sigma?
aren't GTS diff's IRS? If R31s fit, I'd just get a Silhouette diff, cheaper and easier to find, and they have a lsd standard.. it's crap but you can fix it cheaply and easily, just add a shim or two and it effectively becomes a decent LSD. Personally I'm going to be going with a Hilux diff myself wh...

tail lights
Hi Guys, I need to get new tail lights (both sides) for my GH, and just wondering, besides GE and GH sigma tail lights, will any others fit, such as newer sigs or scorp? I'm not particularly fussed how they look because i'm thinking about making custom tail lights, just need factory ones for a rwc :...

Re: Tuff auto conversion
how's the baby 904 going?
Also what would i need to do to a standard GE b/w 3 spd to get it to shift quicker/crisper, and/or how much would it likely cost to get it manualised?
what would be a good stall speed for a fairly standard 2.6, or maybe EFId?

Re: 4 speed strength?
mate i had a galant 4spd (pretty sure its the same box) behind my old 2.6 nitrous turbo engine. i never had an issue with it, apart from it topped out @105mph (171ks) it bolted to the narrow 2.6 no worries. lag was never an issue with it, seeing as the ratios were for a piss weak saturn 1600  ...

4 speed strength?
Hi Guys, just wondering what the strength of the 4speeds from the 2.0L is like and if they can be bolted to 2.6L narrow? (or wide for that matter) I was thinking that if it's as strong as the 5 speed it might not be a bad option if I find one as an interim for my GH.. also as it's meant for racing -...

ok, cool, thanks for the info guys. Ok, will probably stick with the 4G... if I went with SR/RB as well as nissan trans and susp it would end up being totally pointless in having a Sigma other than it'd be unique looking lol...
