He will strip the GA and add things like a hydraulic handbrake and seem welding etc... foregt seam welding its not a Datsun :D the Galants and lancers really dont need it, they dont crack or pop seams like some cars of their era. Stupid.. maybe all calm down and read the rules, its 20% of the biggest engine (without the need for Engineering cet...

In the next 6 weeks or so, Engineers certs will not be recognized..They will be obsolete no this is not the case, if your car is currently registered and you have an engineers nothing will change a...

and as for the clutches, the throw out bearing is cactus in one of them,so i was wondering on swapping bits around? Id guess the Scorpion has a jap box so it should, a new one is better insurance. id also like to know if the 4x4 l200 and l300's share the same gearbox as the scorpion, they are japane...

Re: engine series parts interchangability?

not sure that answers the question which I think is what bits swap between the 4G3 series SATURN engines? if so its everything with some exceptions. You should stick to one engine though, swapping in one conrod will work but not the best idea etc etc.....

dunno where your going ...but ... first gen Galant panels/shells are easier to find than lancer Hatch. Pulling apart a working car to make another working car is not going to get you in competition quicker or be more fun.

yep fix the 1/4 and run it, dont wast money/time on a shell yet (unless the rails are rusted out) dont waste money on paint, spend money on servicing what you have , a dyno tune and the stuff youll need. Do keep a spare shell :)

Re: Sparkplug issue, kind of....

carbs? :) you dont have to do much to damage stem seals, are they Mits or cheapies??? cheapies suck ! overheated it? that could do it as well, slightly off square when fitted..... blah blah.....higher lift cam can also cause issues with side loading of the valve/changes to valve geometry etc etc.....

Re: Sparkplug issue, kind of....

ok then the best bet is to pop the manifold and look at the backs and stems of the two inlet valves, if they are somewhet dirtier than the other 2 your problem is valve , guide or stem seal.... doent look too bad yet though. Std cam?
