Can't say I've ever seen these manifolds to suit an astron 2 head.
Although it wouldn't take much to weld the mounts on.

Here's a picture. Please excuse the dust & cr@9 everywhere, haven't driven the thing in way too long, let alone had a chance to work on it lol. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh62/niknikthegreat777/cable002.jpg That's what I ended up doing, I'm sure there would be some other easier options t...

Should be able to grab one tomorrow for you. Hmm, that's a bit odd. Try sending a msg (to me or another mod), If you keep having issues please let one of us know so we can work out what's going on  As for noticing a gain, bit unfair to compare as I'm currently running the twin side draught...

When I attached the accelerator cable to my set up, I pulled the cable guide/linkage from an old solex, measured a few random things then welded it to one of those bits that clamps to the shaft. -Can grab a picture if you want? Timing is out eh? talented.
Has the distributor got a metal gear on the end or a nylon one? I've seen a few nylon ones wear out before.

Or maybe one of the Lancer/mirage columns could be of use, they are pretty small!
(as in '96 - '02 - Friend should have a spare CC one if its of use? will be a similar size)
-Although it wont be a bolt in fit lol

Looking good  should come along pretty well soon enough. With that dyno run, what was done to it at that point in time? just curious as its rare to see a dyno run in that range so grabs my interest. Double check that they are a matching set of mags. Take the front two rims off and compare the numbers on the inside of the rim. What part are you comparing against? if it is the edge of the guards, could be the panels are not sitting equal too. ? not sure how to check that properly, I guess you cou...

Re: Sigma Overheating.... Ahhhh!
Going by the results of the mechanical gauge, wouldn't it suggest the cooling system is working as it should... ?
Keep in mind the thermostat is a mechanical device that does require some time to react, so when some coolant passes through at 80 degrees, it might not be fully closed until 75.

Re: Sigma Overheating.... Ahhhh!
Depending on the ambient temperature, there is a good chance the engine will not reach normal running temp with the thermo stat removed. That is a good sign, meaning the cooling system is doing its job well - cooling the motor. Mechanical temperature gauges do not run the coolant into the cabin, the...

Re: Sigma Overheating.... Ahhhh!
I haven't read this thread in entirety since my last post, bit too much jibber jabber. In normal operation I would not expect the bottom radiator hose & tank of radiator to be hot with in 15min. of operation with these older vehicles. What you will probably find is the thermo stat is opening sli...

Re: Sigma Overheating.... Ahhhh!
As all this confusion is being based around the factory temp gauge; which in every car is useless as there is no numbering value, its just a guess. I'm going to suggest you spend $50 ~ on buying an after market temperature gauge (mechanical preferred). Easy as to install, just remove the factory tem...

have the car sitting in a driveway or what ever, take the radiator cap off, start it up and leave it there idling until it is up to temperature. Confirm you have coolant movement through the radiator.

Also check that it has bolted up to the diff correctly. The scorp diff uses a larger diameter bolt than sigma, and I'll assume galant. As long as it is centered that shouldn't effect the balance, but would be worth checking.

Does the temp gauge play up too?
If so more than likely the voltage reg on the cluster has lost contact or is on its way out.

& with no letter after them, would denote them to be a performance carb, aggressive progression curve (can be confirmed by removing the blanking screw)
