Re: Cottees' 1987 Sigma GN GSR Super Edition

Cottees...when you put in your Starion struts did you use the Sigma steering tie rod and adjusters ?? Pretty much all I changed were the struts, steering knuckles (cause the Sigma ones won't bolt to the Starion struts) and the lower control arms. Everything else is standard Sigma. The Starion lower...

The intake elbow broke again. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sigma/IMG_5896_zps01107e39.jpg So meant I had to take the entire intake out, again. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sigma/IMG_5898_zpsfd60c071.jpg Tried to put a new plate of aluminium on the throttle bod...

Re: Cottees' 1987 Sigma GN GSR Super Edition

A couple days ago, the GN started to whistle. Turns out the intake elbow cracked. Luckily I had some tools and a coat hanger in the car for a temporary fix. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sigma/IMG_5882_zps773c947d.jpg With around 10 hours on and off fixing it, it now works. Pulled the plugs to check how the car has been running. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Sigma/IMG_5868_zps7d680841.jpg While I had the heat shield off, I packed it with fibre glass. Re: Cottees' 1987 Sigma GN GSR Super Edition

My 1st guess was possibly extra castor The castor looks to be ok. I've also experienced it from idler arm problems. The idler arm is brand new. Took the Sigma for a drive, and still driving well after 30,000kms on EFI! http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/IMG_5849_zpsf2e4ec16.jpg Cleane...

On new roads, it is fine, but on an old rough road, it is all over the place. I did some measurements to see how far out, if at all, the wheel track etc. are. From ...

Re: Cottees' 1987 Sigma GN GSR Super Edition

I like the plates  I got them back in April. I didn't think they'd allow it, but I got them without any problems. Since I have given into peer pressure, I have decided to put more audio gear into the GN. While sorting out wiring, I decided to tidy up the ECU power cable. http://i620.photobucke...

Re: Cottees' 1980 Chrysler Celeste Lancer LC GT A73M Resto

While inspecting the head, I noticed that there was a hole in the #4 combustion chamber. http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/Cottees/Lancer/IMG_5769_zps9e447787.jpg I started to grind away to try and get rid of the hole. Re: Starion 2.6T fit lancer?

I am not sure if anyone has done this mod. In Australia, the Starions came out with a 2.0L 4G63 turbo engine. Better things to search for are some of the parts individually. The 2.6L Starion would be a turbo 4G54, and the transmission would be a KM132. All of the 4G5x Astron engines are the same phy...

Yeah, it is coming from my home server, so will be a little slow. That is why I haven't public posted the link. But, I won't be removing it in a hurry, so you'll be able to eventually get the whole lot. If it stops working, yell out, and I'll PM you the new address.

So the Sigma bearings and seal are the same as the Starion ?? Yep, identical parts. Are you using the stainless steel pad locating guides in your calipers ?
