Re: Wide or narrow ?
There are also 3 other "Wide" gearboxes that are built a little stronger than even the standard Sigma Jap 5-speed. 1. The Triton 4G54 2WD gearbox. 2. The Pajero 4G54 2WD gearbox. 3. The Starion 4G63 gearbox. Does anyone know if there are any differences in the output ratios between these ...

Re: Windscreens and glass
Good call Tubby,
But no mate in my case no new upolstery, or plastics.
No glue or anything used recently...
Im starting to lean towards the fact that the engine needed a rebuild that Oil vapours might have been the cause of this...
No one else has had this problem?

Re: Wildest engine I have seen
Wow Cheater, Thats a Donk! But looking at it, apart from the obvious size difference, and the Crosshead design, it still functions similar to most engines. Amazing power figures but!! And GalantGTO is right, that motor drives a generator mounted in the Truck body and that in turn drives some massive...

Mine seems to happen while im driving??
and also comes back if i clean it then leave it sit.
Ive tried afew different types of window cleaner.
Im just not sure if its due to old glass? excessive oil vapours venting? Fuel vapours?

Re: turbo and carby questions
That's for the advice mate I'll put bigger injectors in and a wideband sensor in to see how it goes. I've seen some guy on a magna putting 4 more injectors into the plenum champer running a piggyback ecu to run them when it hits boost. I've been ringing alot of tuning places they all say go with st...

Please Please Please dont modify this car.
Its in way too good of condition to do anything to it!!!
You will only decrease its value,
And you will regret it later.
Dont even change the exhaust.

haha getting too technical on me Dave
Well when i think about it the engine had let go,
so pushing out too much oil and oil mist is a likely scenario...

Re: LA Lancer Rebuild (Deux)
Sure thing mate, ill do it for you if you like?
Or you can leave this one here so we can discuss in the Lancer section,
and then also have a build page
Then you could open EDIT and copy and paste your first post to a new build.
Either way no sweat

Re: LB lancer 4g63
What an awesome package! A mint LB just sold in Sydney for $1300, combine that with not having to modify the firewall to fit a twin cam turbo... LB and LCs are a good option! Plus the Hatches look pretty sweet, especially compaired to a 4 door sigma! Very nice mate! HP output? or is it pretty stock ...
