Re: sidedrapht manifold

Re: sidedrapht manifold

bit more specific would help but Ill assume twin webber style? Lynx or? but 150 is probably not bad if its not damaged... AND the Mits factory one wont work unless you get the factory soft mounts with it just in case you find a NOS factory one.

Re: Heater issue!

..... look for wrecks or NOS on Ebay, they exist no where else, any older Mits is hard to get bits for any heater tap is impossable (I think XY Falcon is similar to GB but its priced about the same as a running GB wreck).........

[quote="GC75"]hahaha for something that had 1000 made this is bullshit.

supply and demand, the number of people who want one is tiny, what was only 1000 made? I dont know of any that are low production??? they were sold all over the place??

Re: LA diff centres

I dont know anything about the Safari cars but the Southern Cross ones had nothing extra. This is from the guys who serviced them in Australia, not my guess at what was going on, my ex cross car has none either! Unfortunately there isnt a Japanese build plate , just the chassis number. and the origi...

Re: is this a rare gd?

..... looks like a sports pack, dunno how "rare" that is , if you are going to fit sports seats and an anchortron it really doesnt matter , if your going to restore it to new stock it might be a good thing if thats what you want, modify it and you loose the "rareness"

Re: LA diff centres

.........there were at least two ratios available 4.2 and 4.6 (both used in std cars as well in differnt markets) forget the factory bits, they are old, they are hard to get, you cant get parts for them, leave them to colectors.

Re: LA diff centres

various little changes to bits but all the same and nope no LSD's that I know of bar the factory ones ,which cost a fair bit on the odd ocasion they appear and you cant get parts for them. Have you rung the cusco dealer? they would be a better place to get onfo on their LSD's than here.

wouldnt touch one with 300 thou on it , unless its all new with receipts most bits are just about stuffed, more a parts car $200, the other one no idea, I guess your talking GC/GD? if so buy one with a perfect dash as finding a good one is bloody hard, dont buy one with rust, there are lots of these...

Re: avg price of a galant?

.. hit up Ebay and see what they are going for, probbaly not much, you should mention year, body style (wagon? sedan and doubtfull but Coupe?) manual or auto, miles, mods/options, colour...... from $100 to $1000 would probbaly cover all of them, you could get one with rego for $1000 if you look abou...
