cheers, not likely but will do they sit heaps nicely. and now because the diameter is smaller on the back, the car sits about an inch lower.

Re: kens GC 4g63 sedan - *lots of pics
the turbo beanie was $150 from horsepower in a box at lonsdale. he makes them himself and was reccomended to him by a trusted mechanic. the thermal wrap was like $50-70 from memory for a pack. can buy it by the metre though. plus some metal cable ties to secure it $15 roughly. just got that from aut...

Re: Engine builders - who have you used?
mike dale automotive did my 4g63 work. he did a bunch of stuff at the same time so cant give a definitive rebuild price. he did my metal headgasket, upgraded valves and seats etc. only head work really. he can take a while at times as he normally works alone. but still good work!

i like it. nice work taking the effort to keep it all original and not ruining the dash etc. rims arent what id choose. i liked it with stockies better.

maybe thats whats in the galant already then. it currently has a 5 leaf setup and was wondering what it could be from. but they have taken the bottom two leafs and flipped them and put them on top. maybe i could try put them back and see how it rides. reckon they will be shot though from being used ...

Re: kens GC 4g63 sedan - *lots of pics
yeh i remember that. i havent seen any galants down at u-pull-it lonsdale for months (except the rusty old one i ravaged as much as i could). if they are direct bolt in and i could track some down i would give the wagon leafs a shot. still got spare stock sedan leafs aside. one of the things on the ...

Re: kens GC 4g63 sedan - *lots of pics
cheers dave. yeh i do like them how they are. see how they look on the car. need to buy new bolts as the bolt holes on these rims are a few mm bigger so the wheel is "loose" on the hub. going to run 195/60/14 rears and 185/60/14 fronts. had them on a hoist on the car and they reckon thats ...

where to buy centrecaps?
i painted the hotwires today and i want some centrecaps for them. judging by the bolt holes im guessing they are bolt on like the sig turbo ones. but they are different bolt pattern to the turbo ones. i tried to match them up already. the wheels arent finished yet so dont get all gitty about them be...

Re: RIDING IN STOLEN CARS
i would understand your point more if my galant was stock (H) but i would assume the chances of your stock galant getting nicked much slimmer then other cars on the roads like the generic VL's etc. i guess if i had a car i was worried about but not feasible to put alarm funding into a kill switch is...

Re: RIDING IN STOLEN CARS
good idea for a thread mate. i was complacent with my legnum. got stolen in minutes of parking it.....torched two days later. all your advice is well received but number one option is always a well wired alarm. then a kill switch. then any other idea (solex locks are useless). for the money an alarm...
