HID lights

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know the name of the HID light kits that fit the older style lights?
I know they exist, I just can't think of their name for the life of me.
Cheers,
Jer

Re: '74 Galant pcd/offset?

would Sigma turbo rims or the "peppershaker" (or whatever they're called) fit? or any other sigma rims for that matter?

1.8L Cordia turbo engine?

Hi Guys, I've been looking up power specs on the 2.6L and have been quite surprised at their lack of power (I closer to 100kw in my head for some reason). :? Anyway, it got me looking at other alternatives. According to redbook.com the 1.8L Cordia turbo makes 110kw and 210nm of torque, so I was thin...

ok, cool.
Doh, I found some sweet watanabe style 13's on ebay for $380 (no tires) but they're 4x100.
Thanks for the info!

Re: jap 5 speeds, which models?

nah definitely easier in a fwd, cos they only oversteer when you yank the handbrake and when they slide it's actually controllable. When I was 15 I won outright (beating seniors, including some of the clubs best drivers) on only my 3rd race day using a club car - stripped out 1985 Mazda 323 3 door h...

'74 Galant pcd/offset?

Hi Guys,
just wondering what's the pcd and offset for a '74 galant. And are the rims 13s or 14s?
Cheers

Re: my first (real) project :)

hey fellow noob! :) Man I'm loving watching your progress, learning from it for my own galant if i get it. I'm thinking about sticking with the saturn too, well at least while I source a good nick 2.6L and clean it up/detail it... and same for the manual. I think though once I've got all the bits 'n...

Re: 1980 MITSUBISHI GALANT GS/R 2000

 wow that's an awesome scorpion/galant. I've never really liked the front of them (would love to see someone put a GE sigma front on to a scorpion body!) but that looks sweet! The minilites especially suit it!

Re: G'day Jer Here

they're currently using a paddock further down McDonald's road at the moment. They had a open 'khana day on sunday, but I missed it (ARGH!). But it doesn't matter too much, once you're a member of one club you can enter other club's events too :)

Re: jap 5 speeds, which models?

ok, sweet, yeah I like the 2.0L 'box idea, they gotta be more common than the jap spec 5 speed. The b/w strength doesn't bother me too much, I'm not chasing huge power, well not for quite some time anyway, if I do the 2.6 swap in I'll basically keep it stock, just exhaust and intake. I figure it sho...

Re: G'day Jer Here

Actually I'm still debating whether to join the GCC. I love that the track is like 10 minutes from me place but I hate the club's crap attitude to drift. They wouldn't hire out the old track to the drift clubs even when they'd finished using the track (but still well before the power company took ow...

Re: jap 5 speeds, which models?

oh ok, thanks for the reply.
Dang so I guess that would make them pretty hard to find and more expensive. so do I really need to use the jap box to put a 2.6L in?

G'day Jer Here

G'day Guys, The name is Jeremy, but prefer simply Jer. Live in Moe, Victoria (any other gippslanders here?). I'm 21 and have in theory owned 2 sigmas (86 auto and a 78 2.0L 5 speed). I say in theory because the 86 was my sisters, and while she gave it to me, I never took ownership and didn't even dr...

how much do they weigh?

G'day Guys, I'm hoping to get myself a '74 Galant on the weekend. I've been searching all over the place for info on these cars, and I can't seem to find any consistent information. One of the main things I would like to know - How much do they weigh? Also, how much power and torque do the 4g32 make...

jap 5 speeds, which models?

Hi All,
I've been reading through a heap of threads from both the archives and the new site and I can't find out which model sigmas had the jap 5 speed.
I'm hopefully getting a 74 GC Galant on the weekend and want to do the usual 2.6L and 5 speed conversion when my savings revive lol.
Cheers!
Jer
