Re: NSW RTA rules on Lowering Cars
yeah totally agree, for once I'm glad I live in Vic, although with the twats here seeming to want to adopt the most stupid laws from the rest of the states, won't surprise me when (not if) Vic does the same thing. Personally think it's a waste of time - chopped springs are already illegal but heaps ...

Yeah do a quick search and you'll find about a hundred threads on the same basic topic. Good luck with the conversion when you get around to doing it

Re: Newbie sigma form Malaysia
i'm taking a guess at it being a GK. Dunno about LSD - didn't think any sigmas had them (maybe Galant turbos did?) would love to see that with a fmic but doesn't look like much room, you might be better of going with a water/air intercooler in that, would be better than that tiny factory core - just...

mfi? never heard that one before... usually spefi or mpfi (or more commonly known as efi) but would be an interesting conversion.

Re: G spec GH
this looks fantastic, i want one! still it will be a lot cheaper than fitting a turbo and with the pulley ratio i should end up with about 10 psi and theres a bigger bottom pulley available for $85 and this on should give about 15-18 psi from a Sc12? From what I've heard and read about them, you'll...

I'm a bit of a corolla fan anyway (my first registered car was a AE82 twinky) and I gotta say it bums me to find out another KE20 is gone... they're one of the best looking small cars in my opinion!

Re: Full comp Insurance - Agreed Value
yep, i'm going back with Shannons when my GH is done, if they'll take me, lol my history isn't exactly clean though lol. I remember when I was getting quotes from places for my Corolla, one time I called them, I got some lady who when I told her that I had a 1986 Corolla twin cam, proceeded to ask m...

triton parts
G'day, I remember reading in some thread a while ago that the 5 speed in the Triton is stronger than the Sigma, however I just wanted to double check that, and are we talking stronger than the b/w or the jap box? Is there any difference between the Triton's 4g54 and that of a Sigma? Are the brakes a...

Re: Full comp Insurance - Agreed Value
i hate them with a passion, but Just Car will accept just about any mod as long as it's engineered. Shannons are similar (used to be with them in my corolla days) but they don't like it if you don't have a perfect driving history.

My absolute first car was a GN 1986 Mitsubishi Sigma 2.6L, auto, however it was originally my sister's and when she said I could have it, it had a cracked block, at the time, I was 11 I think, so my parents didn't want me to have a car, and they weren't willing to help me get it (was in Melbourne, w...

door trim backing panels
G'day,
does anyone know if it's possible to get new door trim backing boards? I'm going to be making custom door trims for my GH, and while I can make my own if i have to, thought it would save a bit of effort to just get new ones.
Cheers,
Jer

really nice work mate, those rims actually really look good with the car, simple design but suits the lines, and the powder-coated white looks the goods too, esp with the blue!
