Re: Easternats finished at Sandown
hmm the skyline was the odd one out, but not because it was a skyline, but because it was the ONLY one that didn't have stockies on the rear... every single other car did, and that 'bagged statesman was ruined because of it IMO

Re: Performance LPG setups ??
I'm quite confused, sorry if I'm asking dumb question here, but are the systems you guys are talking about efi? If not, is there any benefit in going efi system, and/or is the benefit worth the extra expense. Also, if running LPG, are you able to run a FMIC? from what I read here, it doesn't sound l...

Re: fibreglass doors/panels
lol, yeah that's what i was also wondering about when i see the cars with all this carbon fibre paneling etc and then more metal in the car than outside... although I realise the cage is also to stiffen the chassis a heap so you would want to lower the weight even more so to compensate... anyway it ...

Re: Interesting engine swaps.
haha each to their own I guess, a lot of people love the RB26 sound, but for some reason it never did anything for me, even when I was GTR crazed... the boxer throb just sounds so bloody awesome to me... it alone is the reason I'd consider buying a WRX lol

Re: Bullet Proof Diff conversion for any vehicle!
little confused, the LSDs don't hold up to abuse? what about all the drift cars, most of which run 1.5-2way LSD (many of which are also cusco) they spend all their time sideways and mostly above 100km/h yet hold up... like not arguing, just wondering what i missed

Re: Interesting engine swaps.
it's certainly possible to do all of what you would like, but the awd drivetrain especially would be a heap of work and probably would be hard if not impossible to get registered/engineered. Although I had tossed around the exact same idea myself, so would love to watch your progress if you give it ...

Re: Painting entire car
i'm really confused now, what are you wanting to know? sounds like you're wanting to know if it's worth redoing the sound deadening... if that's what you're asking it really depends on what you're doing with the car, if you're keeping it a streeter, then yes, if a racer, no. It's not that bad to put...

well I just bought a used Autotechnica wood steering wheel and boss-kit for $51, considering all the other boss-kits i've found are $70+ alone I'm fairly happy, don't know if i'll keep the wheel itself, but it's better than the factory twirler that it currently has

Re: My GH project
yeah thanks for the link but not my style of rim. I'll keep the measurements in mind though (will be ages before I buy new rims, the current GSR 14" 4 spokers will have to do lmao). I want something as similar style as I can get to the rims in my drawing and photoedit.

Re: My GH project
while checking out a few wheel websites, I came across these babies.. they're perfect for the look I was wanting, they look quite similar to the drawing I posted earlier in this thread... only problem is they're 18" and I doubt they'd fit the Sigma... DOH! http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r27...

what rims do you run?
Hi Guys,
Wondering how big the rims can go for a Sigma with rolled guards front and rear?, especially a GH. I'm guessing that 17's would be pushing the limits, but that's just a guess.
Also, just out of of interests sake, what rims are you running (size and style)?

what's the difference between GH and GJ?
the more i look at GJ's the more they looks like GH with a GK front to me, so it got me wondering, what's the difference between them and all the different models I guess... basically how did sigma's progress over the years?

Re: EFI 4G52
I'd thought about doing this too, but then though, bugger it, would rather have the extra torque. If magna inlet doesn't work, perhaps a Camira 2.0L one and delco could be adapted? I have absolutely no idea, just throwing the idea out. I know of a Alfa Romeo GTV with the 2.0L 4 that has a camira efi...
