maybe you could make use inside the front guards as a sort of airbox. alot of cars already do this

+1 to the struts settling. when i had the engine out of my lc the front end sat up heeps high. shes almost done now cottees. keep up the crazy work

im with jase. i think rotating the battery 90 degrees or even even relocating it to the boot might be an idea. the smaller dry cell batteries are a bit pricey.

yeh gearbox mount and engine mount is what its listed as. as for gearbox mount the one you wanted is the same as the l300 i think. thats what bursons had listed as the right one. the best thing to do with these cars is to take your original one in and get them to compare it

i like the modern idea but i wouldnt go for a stripped interior. a nice custom interior would be nicer imo (ie all black with coloured stiching or inserts etc)

ok guys its all sorted. turns out i had reconnected to the shifter light :facepalm: (car was a factory auo). so no more shorting. took it and got a pink slip but something happened with the codensor (something came loose didnt connect it up propperly ot something :facepalm: ) resulting in the car st...

thanks trev. imma have to inbox you to get your number. updated the software on my phone and lost it. turns out its not the relay. i disconected all the parkers and dash lights and the fuse still blew. so its shorting out somewhere. time to let the fun and games begin :facepalm:

the fuse its blowing is the one for the parking lights. everything is fine until you twist the indicator to turn the parking lights on. headlights and high beams work perfectly fine. just nothing that runs of the parkers (eg dash lights, number plate light etc).

ok guys, small update. ive pulled the engine and gearbox out of the car. changed the clutch, thrust bearing, spigot bearing, flywheel and machined the flywheel. in the process of doing it i found the gearbox mount was broken and the clutch cable was snapped. got them all sorted. the welch plugs were...

im pretty sure you can get any clay bar ive used both the meguirs and the mothers clay bar. Both are as good as each other

you might need to clay bar it then. mine had white spots all over it when i bought it so i clay barred it and they came straight off
