Hills is no longer running the State Motorkhana round.

Fiat Car Club have taken it on and it is being held at Ansell Park, Percival Road Richmond (near airbase).
If you want to go and watch - it's free and there will drivers there worth watching.

Not much required to enter - CAMS affiliated Car Club Membership, CAMS 2NS licence and Entry - about $150 or so.
Obviously the second event is cheaper since you only need the $50 entry fee.

As for a car, I bought a $300 TR Magna 2.6 Auto and we flogged the living shit out of it in an event (at Ansell Park as it happens).
The three drivers came 4th, 6th and 10th outright.

You don't need anything flash, as long as it has brakes and steering.

Unfortunately I have a broken race car and other plans, so I won't be there.

Unfortunately I was on call and didn't finish till about 4.30 which I guessed everyone would of been gone by then.

disaster man,the first run then mechanical fuel pump shot it self, got a 7psi electric fuel pump on the day wired it all in, ran another 2 runs then she stoped again, we figured it out it was the needle and seat in the carbie, shocking day man but oh well, This saturday a motorkhana is on, ill be out there with it all fixed

yeah its the christiain car club running just a day out at arnsel, need a stage2 cams licence and club membership
dont know how much is entry fee but u guys should pop down, hopfully i have them red gb out there but having some major carbie issues

Ok. My mate's in CACA. He'll probably be running his zebra (a 200 fwhp turbo 121 painted like a zebra). I wasn't aware that they had one on this weekend.

I'll probably pop out in the morning with the hardtop.

I went out to the motorkhana last saturday but I'm guessing you weren't able to get your GB running. The only Mitsu running was 75Wagon's brother, John in his GB. Here are some pic's of it.

next open day for hdcc is on 8dec khanacross day think it may be held at hampton, i wont be out there due to no roll cage in the red gb hahaha

I'll be keeping that date in mind. I don't believe a cage is required for Khanacross' because they aren't classified as a speed event. Well I know they didn't used to be when I used to do them but it's been a few years since I did my last khanacross.
