hole in the fire wall,
clutch cable,
hope the shifter hole lines up with the new gearbox
interior might be different too. i got myself a whold manual conversion set up at home i found the other day :D forgot i had it. its for a GJ scorpion . pedals, interior, clutch cable, the works :)

i'd leave the power steering to another time. do it seperate to avoid confusion and mixed thoughts as you need to swap the whole steering column and then you'd have different keys unless you swap all keys with it or swap the ignition barrel lol.

Coupe requires alot of work. :$

i wanna do something in the mean time that requires lil work.

The coupe requires rust work, and thats expensive shit if you cant do it yourself.

Therefore its on hold lol.

ive done 2 auto to manual conversions using a 2L jap box and GJ/K sigmas.
the Auto body has the mount holes further forward than the manual.
also the trans tunnel is wider on the auto, so you get less space around the clutch than a manual bodyd car.

although they were early jap boxes from a GE/H the correct one may be longer? i dunno

Yeah, found the same as Billsy for all I've done; GE GH, even the GD didn't line with the holes, but as said, maybe with alternate gear box might work?

Yer, GJ-GN Jap boxes have longer extension housings than GE-GH boxes
the guy who did the manual conversion on my GJ used a GH 'box and mount. It all lines up fine as far as I can see apart from some interesting hackage to the front edge of the shifter hole

you need an offset rear mount as the auto is longer than the 5 spd jap out of a gj and the splines are bigger as well 2.6 borg 3 spd auto and i need the offset style mount for my gn any help would be nice.
this car is all motor real motors don't need forced induction or nitrous and there's no substitute for cubes.

Just buy a rusty old Sigma off Ebay and rip the parts off that. Then you'll have them all and some. Probably cheaper too?
