I thought I read some were that a magna tr/ts head will fit and was a good upgrade to a astron head
I have a Tritom MH 2.6l it is a old engine as still has carby was going to have it ported and polished larger valuves and beehive springs
my question is
is it easy to replace with the tr/ts head and better to do up the magna head or my trition head
Thanks
Chris

the problem you may have if you wont to stay with the carb inlet is the rear water outlet on a magna head is bigger that your inlet manifold may cover

I had the same problem on a twin weber manifold that didn't cover the large rear water outletesky64 wrote: Can I just cover the water outlet

I welded a couple of pieces of aluminium flat to widen the contact area and machined the manifold mating surface flat again
