Classic Japanese Show Days - Brisbane

Post by JiP »

I've copied this directly from a post made on rollaclub.com I think he noticed the website after I had a banner made (I'm the Brisbane Region Leader) and posted it at the last show to get the name out there...

Is there anyone with a http://www.sigma-galant.com banner? Fliers or stickers maybe?

Anyway I hope to bring my Galant to the show in Feb as I doubt my Corolla hardtop project will be done in time. :)
Keen to know if anyone else is keen too. Would love to check out more members cars...
Please find details below on the two coming cars shows for 2010

which are being staged jointly between the Rising Sun Collectors Register of Australia and the Mazda "Four of Clubs" Car Club.

I'll probably enter my GB for this one. The jap show which was at pine rivers park in Strathpine around October had a very small showing from the Mitsubishi/chrysler crew so hopefully we can get a few more entry's for this one.

Don't be too concerned if you don't think you car is up to scratch, just as long as it's in a pretty neat condition you'd be fine.

Hi JiP & Woops

Thanks heaps for posting this and comments, yes the rollaclub.com banner was in some of our photos and is a great idea!

Also found the sigma-galant.com website as someone's signature on japanesenostalgiccar.com as gradually finding forums to post these events on.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if there's an event like this run in Sydney or anywhere else in NSW for that matter? I'd love to get out to one and show the coupe off once the new engine's in.

Not sure about NSW but here is the South Australian effort. I didn't enter this year but did in 2008 with the VR4. It is a really great day with some sweet cars.

I'll be entering this this year with my GB. I'm pretty sure that Jamie and his twin cam import GC coupe will be there too. Hopefully there will be enough old school mitsys there to make a decent showing and have one of every type, hopefully.

Does anyone know how they group the cars there at all. Is it by vehicle make or clubs or decade or what?
