Self extinguishing is not going to stop fuel from leaking around in a fire. It might be legal, but I wouldn't use it. The toxins given off when it burns would be bad as well (assuming the normal lexan stuff is not zero halogen, been too long since I worked with safety standards to remember)

Since I broke few bones kneeboarding last week, I won't be able to race anything for 6 months so I'm thinking of selling this . Anyone want to make an offer? Got a few ways I can sell it (anything other then the full package will take some time for me to arrange the parts transfer/removal):

Option 1: $11,0000 - As is (minus a couple of bits..)
2.6 EFI, new EMS ECU, big cam, heavy duty valve springs - blown head gasket (can supply new head gasket and flat top pistons if needed, can't fit due to injury :( )
New heavy duty clutch (completed one track day)
Nissan H190 diff, currently got a welded noisy 4.6:1 centre, comes with 3 spare centres, 4.6:1, 3.9:1 and 4.1:1 all open centres
NSX/Commodore front brakes with braided lines ($300 race pads one track day old)
Commodore calipers/sigma rotor rear brakes with braided lines
Koni adjustable front shocks
Bilstein rear shocks
Coil over front
Longer front control arms
Adjustable camber/castor strut tops on front
2 and 1/2 leaf springs in rear
Sparco fixed backed seats
Full welded in roll cage
Adjustable proportioning brake valve
Hydraulic handbrake
15inch TRX rims
Spare panels as per first pictures
Carter lift pump
Walbro EFI pump in surge tank

Option 2: $9,000 - As per option 1 with these differences:
GH Sigma front brakes
Bilstein front shock absorbers
No adjustable strut tops

Option 3: $8,200 As per option 2 with these differences:
Stock diff
Stock rear brakes

Option 4: $6,000 As per option 2 with these differences:
Carby engine with stock cam and valve springs (All EFI equipment removed)

Option 5: $5,500 As per option 3 with these differences:
Carby engine with stock cam and valve springs (All EFI equipment removed)

Option 10: Pile of discarded parts - $200,000

Strut tops are staying with me, they came off the green one and are going back on to it. It will be taken back to Option 5 when I can organise a couple of guys to help me out (stupid broken bones stopping me from doing anything...) The ECU and struts/front brakes will go on the green car, head/cam/valve springs and EFI manifold sold off separately.

I've got heaps of spare time at the moment, stuck on the couch not able to do anything physical. When I eventually can do stuff, there are three project cars to work on, time and money are always hard to find!

hey hoonboy, like your LC- is that a good dash pad in it? If so, would you consider selling it?

So you read an add for a car for sale, liked the look of that dash and thought you would see if the guy would pull off it out and sell it making the car harder to sell. Did you actually think before you typed?

I know it has great one in it, but you might have some roll cage holes in it and it's not original! Your better off buying an old one and sending it in to be fixed!

HoonBoy, it's sad to see that your already selling it! I hoped to see it out at a rally soon :( oh well, I hope it goes to nice home...

Yeah, damn doctor telling me a big bump will kill me sort of changed things... a punctured lung or ruptured heart just doesn't sound like fun!

All things going to plan I will have it at Wakefield on 4th July, going in for a re-tune with a bigger throttle body on 8th May to try and get some more revs out of the engine.

hey,

noticed in the first pic you have 3 bolt strut tops (and coilovers) and then in the last pic you have 4 bolt strut tops with adjustable tops...

did you junk the coilovers?

Got two sets of struts, both based on GH Green struts, both adjustable height coil overs. The 3 bolt tops are setup for rally with stock brakes and bilsteins, the 4 bolt tops have adjustable koni's, commo/nsx brakes and adjustable strut tops all for circuit. Neither are being sold at this point in time and people have already put dibbs on them if I do sell.

I thought the bilsteins were adjustable as well, or do u mean the actual Knoi shocks are adjustable not just the coil overs??? and are they stock Scorpion or Sigma brakes???
Ive got knoi adjustable's but they are shot :( hence why im interested in the Bilstein ones :D
Ill be at wakefield in July, we can have a real battle this time lol, but i might have to buy me a set of shocks to get through the event caus mine are really cactus (ocilating spring type cactus) if ur not goin to sell them b4 then

They are both height adjustable, but only the koni's have adjustment in the shocks themselves. Stock scorpion brakes from what I can tell.

You'll need to go buy something, nothing for sale from me until after Wakefield at the earliest unfortunately. There are a heap of options for the front, the rear requires a bit more research and a friendly shock place.

thanks dave.....lol
Yea i know Koni's are rebuildable but im still trying to figure out which is better for rallying, Koni's or billsteins (im not sure i spelt that right either). Billsteins option can come out of a commodore and i think this would enable better handling of bumps etc caus the shocks are built for a bigger car.

Few things done on this recently. Few more horses with a bigger throttle body, changed to 4.1:1 gears, fitted new rear pads, fitted a panhard rod to the rear and then put it up for sale http://www.my105.com/classified.asp?id=15911

I'll get some pics on the weekend, not much to see of it, it's a pretty basic setup.

Forget major fab work, it will end up staying in the garage for years not going anywhere!

Took a deposit on the car yesterday, it's going as a rolling shell so a heap of parts will be up for sale in the next couple of weeks. I haven't worked out prices yet, feel free to make really big offers :)

Some of the parts for sale will be:
Nissan H190 diff, shortened to Lancer width, Sigma discs/ commodore calipers, 4x1143. (can include a tailshaft for narrow block 5 speed in to LA/B/C Lancer)
2.6 Astron, freshly built, recoed head, camtech cam, heavy duty valve springs, converted to RWD Magna EFI manifold, cleaned injectors, adjustable timing gear. 8:1 compression ratio, just waiting for a turbo or more compression! (no computer included)
2.2 Astron forged short block
2 x Astron 1 heads, inlet manifolds and carby's
Freshly machined narrow block flywheel with near new heavy duty clutch
Jap 5 speeds, wide and narrow blocks (condition unknown, have not been used since I got them)
TRX 15 inch rims (probably two sets, need to check)
Superlites, 15x6 +24 with 195/50x15 yokohama semi slicks
2 x LA (or maybe LB or LC) diffs, one with welded centre, other open
