Re: PROJECT V6 SIGMA (NEW RIMS)
i never got axle tramp at all but i was only running small tyres on the 14 inch rims...the biggest tyre i ran on it was a 195 wide other then that 165 wide so with the v6 and nitrous it just never had a chance of gripping and within 10 seconds of the burnout i was in top gear so tyres were cooking straight away.
Re: PROJECT V6 SIGMA (NEW RIMS)
haha thats cool..sometimes they hop(axle tramp) were theres too much powe?? i mean for the actual suspension etc??
i dont know,im running 205/65/15 and 1st gear gets alot of axle tramp but once it hits 2nd its pretty much got no choice??..all good bro you car is looking awsome!

Re: PROJECT V6 SIGMA (NEW RIMS)
i will build a commodore diff to go in but at the moment i built up a stack or sigma diffs which i have welded up and ready to go!!!!! when my pile runs out ill get the commodore diff done.
i didnt have to cut the tunnel just had to massage it with a hammer a litle bit but besides that slotted straight in.

Re: PROJECT V6 SIGMA (NEW RIMS)
Hey guys been a while since ive been on here building a new house so sigma has been sitting around no tyre frying action.....
But a couple of things have been done.....new 308 stroker engine will be going in still running nitrous so last pics of the v6
Dash shot of new dash i made
Engine bay cleaned up no fuses or relays any more and removed wiper motor and repainted manifold top cover and new fuel reg mount

Re: PROJECT V6 SIGMA (SOON 2B V8)
Just to let people on here know the engine mounts, maybe gearbox crossmember, tailshaft and wiring will all be up for sale within a month if anyone is intrested pm me or call on 0431134802 also the engine and gearbox is for sale but after the beating it has copped may require a good rebuild.
Re: PROJECT V6 SIGMA (SOON 2B V8)
Just a couple of videos of the sigma
tested out the 100hp shot for a bit of fun and lost 3rd and 4th in the auto by the end!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TQDsRcT ... ture=g-upl
Another one same day but no nitrous (Brand new set of tyres and asked officials if i can go till i blow it)but in the end it never died)
after a day of 100 shot of nitrous and endless heat seizes it was struggling
