just CC'd the head on my engine
Head is 73cc
Deck height is .050
Head gasket is .050
Piston dish is 17cc
Bore is 3.58
Stroke is 3.85
Head Gasket bore is 3.65
when all that data is entered, it comes up with 6.1:1
hopefully this helps some of you guys out when dropping the magna head on the sigma bottom end
this would be a rough guide, as your CC's may be smaller or larger
but yeah as r rough guide, you can say "about 6:1"
it will lag bad, but thats cool, can screw some big boost in to it
and the lag only gives the V8's a chance anyways
M6 Head + Dished Pistons
Re: M6 Head + Dished Pistons
so this is a astron bottom end with a efi head etc?
Trying to work out what to do when i convert the GSR to efi and turbo, rebuild a astron 2 to standard specs and run 10psi with a GT30
Or use my rebuilt astron 1 bottom end with efi dead, GT35R and more boost. GRRRR, dunno lol

Re: M6 Head + Dished Pistons
Dont suppose if u know if a M3 head has a bigger or smaller cc?
This might explain why my N/A sigma bottom end with M3 head and TR injection is a bit slow for my liking.....need more compression...flat tops here I come
Cheers Matt
