Re: Looking for some jetting suggestions on twin 45s in a g5
Thanks for the replu, big help/ I had a feeling from reading some of the builds, an then looking at the dellorto chart these wouldnt flow very well up top, but thats what I have right now. Hard to find 55s at a decent price. What are the specs on your cam, and what kind of timing are you running? St...

Looking for some jetting suggestions on twin 45s in a g54b
I figure there may be a few more twin 45 builds down here that someone might be able to get me in the ballpark. I'm using a late g54b flat toip with a small chamber head. Should be up around 11:1ish compression. I will be getting a cam ground for it, but havent decided on a durration yet Carburetors...

Re: anyone know what year this sigma is?

It was only around 1000usd, but after all the fees involved with the guy im working with it woulda been around 3000 to 3500. I'm hoping I can find another one, but these things are rare as hell in j...

anyone know what year this sigma is?
I'm wondering what is the deal with this car. It's othe only one I can find like it. I noticed the side trim is like my usdm scorpion and the bumper is different. I'd love to get my hands on the front bumper. I'm thinking about importing one, but the one im looking at looks like a normal aus one. I ...

Well, drove it around quite a bit the other day with my friuends on their 510 one had a sr20det and one had a ka24e. I think im faster than the sr20det and the ka isnt even in the ball park. Stupid torque on this tiny little car. It was fun, but Ithikn it needs something smaller. You definately feel...

Re: lb 2.6 swap questions
Ironically I was looking at my montero setup the other day as im turbo charging it. Uses a early style pickup.. I think the later turbo pickups with the tube may actually allow more flow from the suction side as the hole seems to be larger all around. Then again they montero guys use the pumps all t...

Re: lb 2.6 swap questions
I hate autometer gauges, and yes they are stupidly expensive for any gauge that will allow you to actually read it at night.. Overpriced and not up to par with a lot of other makers. I'd go with stewert warner over those, but I'd probably use some nice bli8tz gauges or what nto over both depending o...

Re: lb 2.6 swap questions
ended up with my rebuilt starion g54bt engine with hydraulic clutch.
Runs pretty good, needs a surge tasnk setup and more air flow from the radiator fan, but it's done.

gd sedan taillights on a gc hardtop?
I'm trying to figure out if I can take the tailights off a gd 4 door galant and put them on my 76 colt galant hardtop. Which I think is a gc galant hard top. Here are pics of the 76 I am buying and my old 74 which I'm pretty sure are the exact same. 76 http://www.nwstarquest.com/1976colt/76colt3.jpg...

Very nice Dodge Colt you have there! By the way, do you know of any Dodge Colt Wagons near you? The 1977-80 models were basically rebadged Sigma wagons that we have downunder! Here is a blog post I posted up just today: http://bad-sig.blogspot.com/2010/01/1978-dodge-colt-staion-wagon.html I've only...

man that lancer is nice. Starions drift just fine with stock blown out suspension to a point. I thikn a scorpion would do well with the 4 link. I'll let you know as soon as I get a lsd machined down for it. Right now it does very nice one tire fires without wheel hop, but thats about it. http://www....

been there so many times. What always kills me as of late is rebuilding on my cars after they have sat for a while and I've shuffled parts around. I spent a day looking for my 12a v band clamp, 45 minutes trying to find the missing copper crush washer on one of the turbo lines, and I ended up realiz...

Finding 70s mitsubishis is like finding gold here. I got lucky and a friend had a neighbor who had a old "colt" that he was selling so we went up and looked at it. It ended up being a lb lancer coupe, and I sold! I was in the market for a 71-73 galant coupe, but they are rare as all hell.

Re: 1978 lancer coupe g54bt project
Thanks guys. Yeah. it's definately nice not having a rhd car, if the engine flowed the other way that would be another story hehe. I ended up doing a little more work. I raised the transmission about a inch so I have a good driveshaft angle. I also made some mounts for the radiator and trimmed down ...
