Also, I wasn't aware that the Starion's came out with such a tall diff ratio....the best i heard was 3.9 (tho "apparantly", 3.5 are common) Your right i only purchased the LSD center from the states, no ring gear or pillion . Made it liter(cheeper) Then placed the scorp ring gear onto it ...

My 1978 Lancer hatch Was silver but now budget white. The car was fairly rust free the worst being around the battery. My plan is to rebuild the old giil without breaking the bank. Thanks for your info but all sorted a while back. if only l had those sigma 2 callipers that Dan had in his pics, they would have solved my problem. Had to machine a calliper the thicker sigma 2 slid mount to fit in between disc and the strut mounting bracket .The match the right hand strut setup. A...

Hi Dan Looking at your picks..... The sigma 2 callipers that you have , do they have a date cast into the underside of the mounting slide a date ???? they look like the same callipers that l had . I damaged one of and tried to replace it with another sigma 2 calliper but found they were all as thick...

Hi all lve just about completed a scorpion diff conversion to my hatch . All is good except for the hand brake. The lancer has 2 cable pull but the scorp is one cable to the hand brake lever. Ok been out in the garage and have fitted the new door rubbers to a Lb hatch.
The rubbers are still list but are listed as La - Lb coupe door rubbers. When you open the add you will get more off an idea of what thay realy are for. Item No 130752266388 There is 8 left and thay DO FIT a Hatch

Just puchased a set of door rubbers for my Lb hatch . Had a quick look to see if thay are correct, all looking good.
All the little posts are in the right places and looks right shape and lengh. Got them on Ebay from Phils Rotary Products
He also has Lb - Lc strut bearing plates as well brand new

All bolt on , no cutting just swaping over May have been done before. Brings the seat down to the original lance cushion hight and the fabric color...

Sorry ,forgot about the calipers,thay were still on the car. The two sets off struts were on the ground side buy side but l fogot about the calipers.

The front end is all sorted. Replaced the front springs with Nissan Exa and changed the strut tops to 3 bolt gh type. These to 2 things has lowered the car by 20mm . What l did notice is from the top of the mounting plate to the bottom of the bearing on the strut tops there is a difference of 12 mm ...

l think you guys are right. The car l have is one of the first lb hatches in aust . It now has green struts with the lbs springs on them. l put them in over a year ago.
