All l will say Scorpman is that it is old . Will put up some pics when it gets under way Have it stored under my little carport out back . A mate has a Fiat 850 sport stored in his garage since 1985 He is too old to restore it himself If l can get that l will drop the mystery car for that. BUT BEFOR...

The windscreen was a surprise , one of the easiest things l had to find .
Rang a small husband and wife type business in the morning and l think fitted in that afternoon .
I think $170 comes to mind , about 3yrs ago.
Keep up your good work quietly watching your build

Love the wagon .  Cant help with your problem but .. I have had over seven LPG powered cars over the years . None of them backfired when they were switched of . The first 4 only backfired from the carb or the throttle body only on start up or sharp accelerating . The remaining 3...

Re: 4G64 into LC
So work got in a nice MK triton with a really good nick 4G64 in it and being staff i can pick it up for pennies, and was curious as to if a) anyone has put this into a lancer and b) what were the results? Being a DOHC EFI 4g64 its very appealing to bolt into the LC and have some fun with. Funnily e...

Been driving around Melbourne in the Lb hatch for a couple of years now . A lot of people have commented on the car which is nice to hear BUT. Most of the comments go like .... Re: EFI prep work
All noted about the lift pump bracket. Well the engine is now running , took some time. It had a loom that came with the manifold but it looked well worn. After trying that loom l decided it would be best to make up a new one . After some trial and error she fired up running strait out the extractor...

Its taken some time but the engine is in and running with the EFI . l have been running on the road with a set of beat up extractors running into the standard 1 1/2 inch exhaust. The motor seems to be running fine so time for the exhaust . Been quoted $1150 for extractors cat and system. It will be ...

Re: EFI prep work
Wouldn't say it looks a work of art but it is proper angle bracket ( 2 together to form a C ) . On the outer edge it will safely hold up to 10 kg and at 16 kg and it starts to droop . exhurst complete what to pay ???
Well the 4g54 is in but not running yet.
Needs to go down to the exhaust shop . What would be a fair price for a complete system , headers etc.. Maybe even a cat.
Is it best to take it down and get it fitted with non running motor or wait till l get it running ??
Thanks Mark

Re: Facet pump NEW
What a fool am l.
All my problems turned out to be a faulty power supply.
Tested the wire only to find it was supplying just over 10 volts.
l was the wire to the rear window demister . This was temp till l had time to run wires down to the pumps.
The car is running the old Satin with a mech pump.

Unique l do think l have a dud . The first pump l had was second hand one and came with the kit. I fitted it in the same place and she primed and filled the surge tank in seconds. But she only lasted one drive. The car conked out crossing Eastlink on Ferntree Gully Rd .Not a place to stall half way ...
