I approve of this product or event.

Makes me want a wagon lol.

If it were mine i reckon a 2ltr 4g63 n/a motor froma late model galant would liven the old girl up :) but still the saturn looks the goods an im sure it sounds good too. Whats economy like?

Re: Radiator suggestions/ cooling issues

After I turboed my galant the sigma radiator in their become a bit dogey, would heat up quick in traffic(still had stock engine fan) and didnt like going slow, i think the i/c blocked alot of airflow. Now I have a volvo 7 series turbo radiator in my galant, fits nice and outlets are in the right spo...

Re: Project 71

If you dont like the galant pedal attached to the floor you can get a sigma one in their no probs and just grind the bit on the floor off, thats what i have on my gc. Sigma pedal bolts in but you may need to bend it up to suit...all very easy.

Sounds like a good idea in your first post.

Commodore stuff is ridiculously cheap and easy to find. The best part about commodores is parts availability(everything else pretty much sucks).

Rx3's are worth money.

Sigma/galants are not.

Re: Wrecking Yards in Melbourne

In my experience, Centre Road Wreckers are far better than Pinch-a-Part. They usually have quite a few Lancers/Galants/Sigmas etc there. Dont waste your time at pick a part. Centre road wreckers have Early models galants, lancers and even a couple of starions. Unlike alot of wreckers that only keep...

Twin dcoes, some cam an and headwork could bring it up to something that might be ok to drive depending on what your used to. Or just slot in a 2.6 an 5spd then do the cam headwork and twin dcoe 45s to that :D And before all these saturn fanboys start blowing their trumpets too louldy :D , ther...

Rallyant wrote:what would be the advantage of this over just puting starion struts in?
Starion 256mm rotors, z31 is 274mm(i think). Plus bigger single piston calliper, and cos the z31 has 100mm calliper spacing you can bolt 4 pots from r33/32/300zx straight on once you get the right disc.

Re: Autocross options

Difference between a stripped out galant an a sigma aint that much of a big deal. Sigma benefits from better strut front end and 4 link rear outweight the 150kgs or so extra which aint even that much at the end of the day especially if your dropping a 2.6 donk into a galant.... Most of the extra wei...

I think you will find that if your using the original 2.6 block with all the magna gear stuck to it, including cat convertor an unleaded fuel filler neck and such that you will be ok.

Unlikely anyone would know any better when it come rego time an such anyways.

Re: R31 front struts on a Sigma

Just get some z31 turbo struts(or late z31), their already 5 stud, weld some coilover mount on them an away you go. I dont see the s13 stuff being all that great. Youve gotta fork out for it all, then you need to mod that stuff/buy aftermarket stuff. Personally just adding coilover mounts to shortne...

I have some r31 knowledge. And i know that R31 struts suck. Thats why you put z31 struts in R31's. http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=12150.0 274mm vented disc with big ass single piston calliper. No need for s13 stuff, z31 stuff leaves plenty of scope for brakes. Just use the nissan s...
