Sigma parts

In my clean up ,I found a dash insert with rev counter and a late model carb and manifold. These could go to anyone that needs them in the Brisbane area. Reply to mckenzig1@bigpond.com which is my new email. As well I have a large collection of motoring magazines, Restored car, Classic and Sportscar...

Bits to give away

I have a late model Sigma carberator and manifold plus an earlier dash insert with the rev counter to give to whoever wants them. You would want to be in the Brisbane area as post would cost. photos available

GE sigma auto gearbox

Today I was reversing my 1978 Sigma GE into a park when it made a small noise and would not go any further. I tried it in forwards and all gears were there and working. I drove it home and checked oil level and gear selector linkage and all was OK. Has anyone got any thoughts on what may be wrong, o...

Anybody wrecking a GE?

Hi all, I wonder if anyone in the Brisbane area has or is wrecking a GE Sigma as it would be good to have some local contacts for bits that might be needed. At the moment I only want one of the tiny screws that fit down the centre of the clock adjustment knob.

Power steering

Has anyone converted a GE manual steering to a power unit and if so what parts did they use?

Re: Help please!

I had a similar problem and went to my friendly AutoPro and built up one out of their brass fitings. No more corrosion.

Timing and fuel

A couple of questions that I would like some input on. What fuel is required when the GE handbook says Super and with this what setting is required on the timing, the standard or advanced?
Another one is what temperature thermostat should be used?

Sigma seats

Does anyone know of a method to get the front seats of a GE Sigma to go further back? Our cars seat is just on the point of being too close to the steering wheel, and I am not a big fellow, with the adjustment in the last hole. The only way that I can see of fixing this is to make a further square h...

The balance shafts

After you remove the balance shafts what do yo do with them? Has anyone found a sensible use or does someone actually want them?
