LA Lancer 1974 2 door
Hi guys this is my Newest addition. I didnt do the paint and interior, bought it off the guy that did. Some may recognise it from Fast Fours alittle while back. Although it looks good from afar, im not overly happy and need alot of work to get it upto scratch. To be honest i wasnt a fan of the Purpl...

Re: Seat choice
My LA 4 door, i found the seats were interchangable with Sigma seats. I took em out, swapped the mounting brackets, the Sigma seat bolted straight onto the Lancer Bracket, so you arent changing the Engineering integrity. might be a cheap option. And I had some Later model Velour seats so they looked...

Re: Question about organsing events
Awesome Sigmare, thanks man, In the 12s is fast! But i guess this directs to my question, would people be happy to put the site name against our members postings? I think that it should be passed by Mods first, and realise that it may be a contested issue, but what do others think? I think that many...

Re: car keeps running on!!!!
Why 2-stroke oil in the tank? OK, showing my age here. Years back, like late 1960s, the best thing for loosening up deposits was 2-stroke oil - the servo I worked in also sold it as "Upper cylinder lubricant" but it was just 2-stroke oil. We put it down the plug-'ole or for a gentler efff...

Man every one will have a different opinion on what is better, Faster, more econmical, cheaper, more HP etc. You just summed it up in one statement, its just for driving. Put in the cheapest most economical engine, that fits, and will give you a thrill for what you want to do with it. If that mean d...

Re: Turbo oil return
You need to increase that bro! The bigger the better The more oil you have flowing away from your turbo means the better cooling!!!! Pressure toward the turbo. And flow away!!! Yes definitely set the return in the sump, above the oil level. and if the boys set a specific height than stick to that......

Re: car keeps running on!!!!
run some of that fuel injector cleaner thru it or chuck some 2 stroke oil in the tank (can you still buy that stuff ?). Whats happening is that youve got stuff in the cylinder somewhere that is so hot that it sets the fuel/air charge off without any ignition. Usually carbon deposits. Carbon deposits...
