someone will correct me if i am wrong, im currently looking for r31 diff as well.
Paddles

10 bolt scorp diff, they are a little bit wider, but if you are running flares you wont notice. much stronger than the crappy borg warner diffs in sigmas.

Re: LA diff centres
the early 70's model 2wd hilux diffs are narrow enough to fit under a lancer(very similar width to scorpion). detroits are available off the shelf for these (true tracs and lockers). i can't see why a hilux conversion would cost more than $1500 including centre and brakes. a mate of mine had one in ...

Theres a certain hilux diff thats the correct width for an RX3 mazda so it would be very close to a galant
early 70's 2wd hilux. i think they are 1380-1400mm wide, very hard to find now though.

Re: Breaking the rules
my daily is an ss ute. typical bogan transport. holden. v8. ute. i bought it brand new in '06 and now that the lancer is starting to come along it wont be too long until i've spent more on it than the ute. and in the terms of power, the lancer will have slightly less power than the ute, but it is 60...
