Re: Galant diff strength
It's only a budget build to thrash the tits out of a galant was also thinking maybe gh sigma diff slightly better then a galant diff but still to much stuffing about really isn't it

So cause I've got stupid amounts of galant thought ill turn one into a burnout car I'm going to weld it up but my judgement
is it won't last very long till it goes pop or will it ? What have you guys done to a stock galant diff and how has it held up

I'm running 4-1 extractors and 2 1/4" exhaust with one hotdog and one muffler sounds quite good for a 1600

Re: 4g63T in a ge sigma
Yeah I get that just can't be buggered to go through so much work then pay shit loads more just to get it engineered. just not bothered all that much in doing that conversion if its so hard in the end but if it was so easy everyone would do it

Yes I know they only come in 52's but 52's and 63's are both 2l so why does it need engineering ?

Obviously not I wasn't even alive then lol but it's been back to bare metal on the boot and unless ga's came in lemon twist then it's the original holes and hasn't been bogged or welded up to fit that badge but you know what chrysler are like just throw anything on here and there

Re: Galant rear end options
Sigma diffs are 15mm longer overall length then a galant diff that's 7.5 mm either way now that's practically nothing and the vl/r31 lsd diff centres fit the gh diffs I've been told by numerous people .

Re: Galant rear end options
What I'm doing is gh sigma diff being Borg Warner then commodore or falcon LSD centre bolted in I'm not ripping the biggest skids but I do want better traction using both wheels other then welding the diff I hate welded diffs unless its in a burnout car ;)
