Re: '77 Lancer coupe boot lining
You can get them at Super Cheap Auto- look for the stand with all the replacement bolts and clips. Somewhere on there you should find some that match. I did, but I foolishly chucked the box, so I can't give you a part number.... You can get replacements for most of the fasteners used on the Lancer, ...

Re: LC lancer front struts
Check with a Hyundai parts place. I got new strut tops from them. Turns out they use a lot of Mitsu bits in the first two Excel models. Maybe the entire strut assembly is the same? Certainly has the same top bolt pattern!

Dude, if you ever get the bonnet arrow made up, pm me. I've already got an Adobe Illustrator file made up for the side stripes if anyone wants to get some stripes cut.
Big job putting them on :-)

Re: VR4 into LC lancer?
I saw one back in the '90's when I was putting the 4G63 twin cam into my LC and it all certainly fit in the engine bay. The guy was racing it in SA, up against various Porsches etc and doing very well. I resisted to turbo motor mainly because the crazy power to weight ratio in a car with almost no w...

An article of interest for Lancer/ Celeste/ Arrow tragics... apparently very popular at the 2013 Geneva motor show!

Re: New LB - LC Hatch door rubbers for sale
They fit my LC perfectly, he's just messed up the label on Ebay. On the packet it states A72, so Lancer/ Celeste hatch.
Mine are a bit gummy, so I hope they don't melt onto my nice new paint when summer returns!

Re: LC rear bumper end cap
Here's a thought: maybe GE Sigma ends would fit, or even the entire bumper assembly. I'm looking around the wreckers over the next few days to see if I can find some and test the theory.

Re: Sigma panels on LB/ LC coupe
There used to be a white LC living next door to my yellow one in Canberra back in the early '90's. It had early magna bumpers front and rear, shortened to fit, and a black XY falcon wing. Also a 1.8 turbo, from a Cordia I think. Might be the same car, but this was just the bumpers, not lights and gr...

Re: Sigma panels on LB/ LC coupe
Thanks for the info guys! Not going down this path with my current baby- it's an idea for the nearish future and another Lancer! The paint is too new on the LC to mess with it now ; ) I saw a Celeste overseas with the twin light setup as per the Sigma, and then when I saw the pics of the L200 with t...

Sigma panels on LB/ LC coupe
Hey all,
here's an interesting one for you... Some of you might have seen the L200 with the sigma front fitted. Given the similarity between L200 guards and lancer ones, what are the chances of fitting a sigma/ scorpion front to a Lancer? Anyone tried it?

LB/ LC Lancer hatchback door rubbers & weatherstrip
OK, so I'm guessing the answer will be a resounding 'NOPE', but does anyone have a lead on new rubbers for a lancer coupe? I'm using the 'bubble on pinchweld' stuff from Clark Rubber at the moment, which works OK but tends to get pinched in the doors and rip, not to mention making closing the left d...

Re: New LC head lights
I've had the Hella lights in my LC for about 12 years with 100w globes and they're great. The one difficulty I had was that being a '79 mine didn't have frames that held the sealed beam units, they bolted directly to the spring mounts. The Hella units needed to mount in a frame that then attached to...

Re: Querie K-Mac strut tops
I got brand new OEM strut tops for my LC courtesy of Hyundai. The original Excel's use a lot of LC compatible parts!
I thought the price to benefit ratio for the adjustable types was a bit hign for street & highway driving...
I think the pair were about $90.
cheers,
Scot

Re: Cracked Strut Top - GA galant
I just got new strut mounts for my LC coupe via Hyundai- '86 to 89 Excel uses same strut top mounts as the lancer, and I'd assume that the Galant would accept them. I've got Sigma struts in, and the strut top mount is the same. It's the 4 bolt one. You can also get the old one's re-rubbered apparent...
