Absolutely most likely a head gasket......if Ur good with the spanners, then replacing the basket is great insurance
Before u do so tho....... double check water pump operation, also check level of water, quality of coolant and any blockages in the radiator

Never heard of the needle warping like that before.... Only thing I can suggest is change the needle....or change the clear cover (assuming that hasn't warped)

As long as as it's a wagon then yes, it will fit....however, it will need to be the ENTIRE interior.... dashboard and control fascia in particular

Re: Diff identification
Try looking at the MK Triton of 02-05 I'm not aware of the ratios exactly but I remember them being LSD (this was when I worked at a Mitsubishi dealership) Don't be afraid to look at multiple cars of the same model as u may find that the ratios will change if it's petrol/diesel, manual/automatic, or...

I'm going to assume ur running twin piston calipers up front with the 300mm rotors......ur going to need a stepped-bore brake master cylinder commonly found of the BA Falcon onwards, and VS Commodores onwards..... Investigate their crack point pressures and mountings as will vary from make and model...

Great job!!!!!!
It's he cutest Charger I've seen lol
On a serious note, I distinctly remember someone doing an XY GTHO replica with a Cortina and it worked very well.....Ur creation is looking just as good!!!
Are u going to replicate the engine bay (with the 4cyl) ??

U might be better off finding the specs on the cam ur looking for, and having one made, or finding an off-the-shelf variation closest to ur needs

Little black box located on the passenger side inner guard just behind the headlight. Assuming ur arrangement is identical to mine, u should be able to invert the connector in it and operate the other headlight circuit (low beam yes, hi-beam no, or Visa versa)

Yeah I agree.... If it's a project/weekender, I'd stick with originality......I'm in the same boat with my Honda atm......the hardtop is already a unique car and won't need all the turbo/electronic/computised hardware kit to make it stand out......there's plenty of go fast bits for these cars that w...

Check the amount of power the wiper motor is getting first or all....also, check the overall health of the motor itself

Half a dozen sockets, half a dozen screwdrivers and a hammer and pliers will turn ur complete car into each individual pieces.....they are brilliant to work on.....very forgiving

Welcome aboard
Great looking project starter u have there
Yes, these turboed terrors were quite the dark horse in their day
Some would argue a lil ahead of their time with turbo technology and also safety/luxury equipment
If left in std form, they are a lil fragile in the trans/diff area

Providing they are from the same engine/trans/body combo,
I'd be guessing they are largely the same loom.... U may find differences wirh headlights, horn, washer bottle motor etc.....but very minor difference (if at all)
