Yea my mistake I was looking at the L300 4G64 gearbox.. I'm thinking the triton will just have the shifter on top..

Cheers Stealth... Looking on ebay and the shift point is on the side on the triton box... So im looking at b2600 boxs at the moment...

Hi guys

I'm going to start with the 4g64 Dohc that Taz has for sale in this thread... It's a wide block with a reco Lancer Dohc, my only concern is the 7 bolt crank shaft??

Hi Jason Thanks for the advice.. I'm located Down the mornington peninsula Melbourne... I have found a motor at the wreckers.. The guy said I can have everything I need for $220.. It has an m7 head.. The car has done 220,000 clicks so a freshen up will be in order I recon.. Is this a fair price?? Ja...

Thanks I thought the 1uz motor was a 4500cc but I was wrong its 4000cc perfect thanks...
I'm a bit tired of 4 cyl turbo.. I've played around with cordia's for years and want to build something a bit more stable.. To many meltdowns...

Well plans are to build a tough legal street weapon.. I wanted to do a v8 conversion but I'm having second thoughts as it looks like I can only go to 4200cc because of the 1050 tare weight... Any ideas??

If my calculations are correct and pull me up if I'm wrong please, but in Victoria the bigest CC engine I can fit into my 1050kg Sigma is 4200cc??

Hi guys Thanks for the replies.. Well i have been at the wreckers with a measuring tape.. And looks like it will foul the brake booster, the engine bay of a sigma is wider than the engine bay of a ba Falcon by 100mm. But the brake booster is offset to the left in the falcon. I'll keep doing my home ...
