Re: fuse or relays
looks like, either nobody knows or nobody is on here anymore... Will be a lot easier to sell this car and put the money to finish something that is 60s GM based and more deserving than being bothered to fix this type of automotive lemon.

fuse or relays
What large fuses, flasher cans or relays are needed for the 2nd fuse panel up under a scorpion or sigma dash. Its positioned above the accelerator pedal Not the side fuse panel. I have no lights, accessories and I can't fire up the motor. So I'm assuming these are the culprits. Worse comes to worse ...

fuse or relays
My wife has a 82 scorpion I scored some time ago from the wreckers, it was a low mileage country car with no damage or rust or a motor but I scored another which I put in. The interior is mint and it was only missing the fuse/relays under the dash on the 2nd fuse panel above the accelerator pedal. I...

Re: fuses or relays ??
I've decided to persevere with trying to figure out what I need on that fuse panel. There are a few early magna's in the wreckers so i'll see what relays/fuses they run in them. But I'm not going to fit another scorpion harness in, worst comes to worse i'll fit an early holden one in. I have one her...

Re: fuses or relays ??
This is my last attempt to get it running. If not i'll push it to the back of the shed for a few years and later on ditch the wiring and drivetrain and fit a charger harness in along with a 340/torqueflite auto and a narrowed VH dash. If something is too complicated I'm not afraid to modify it into ...

Re: fuses or relays ??
The harness is o.k it doesn't need a replacement. Its just the top relays etc in the fuse box above the gas pedal that are missing. I'm assuming that the ones I sourced from the sigma 's at my local wreckers might be o.k. I have the two lower ones, the middle row with flasher cans but none of the to...

fuses or relays ??
My wife has a 82 scorpion I bought out of the wreckers and its missing the fuses/relays from under the dash . Above the accelerator pedal on the inside of the firewall. Can someone tell me what is needed and what there called so I can source new ones. I don't have a manual for one of these nor is on...

How many coils need to be clipped to go 50mm or 75mm lower. Is it the old standard of half a coil for a 1 inch drop.

under dash fuse questions
HELP..please. My wife has a 82 scorpion and its missing a bunch of relays?? under the dash. These are positioned on the firewall above the accelerator pedal. I got a few from the local wreckers but the very top one is still missing. I guess the two centre mounted ones of the 3 rows are flasher cans...

Re: 82 scorpian wireing diagram
I guess I should just figure them out via a test light and switching on each component to see what wire goes where. Front and back.

Re: 83 challenger
Just about to hook back into the challenger project after a huge break from it. Car is in primer and it has extended fenders and hood on it. Headlights are 5" round quads from a 78 sigma, plus a 70 challenger grille. I wanted taillights that were more musclecar era looking so I used (hahaha) Da...

82 scorpian wireing diagram
Hey guys I'm chasing a full wireing diagram for a 1982 scorpion. I have one from a 78 sigma but its a lil outdated and I don't have a need for a full repair manual.
So could someone post one up for me to copy or direct me to somewhere I can....
thanks.

Re: scorpian / automatic neutral safety wiring?
Yeah i saw that plug when i fitted the loom in, cool great thanks fella's . This is exactly what i needed. I also f@cked up by mentioning the coil wire for my safety switch , it was bugging me all day until it dawned on me that I've allways used the starter solenoid wire for the park and neutral saf...

scorpian / automatic neutral safety wiring?
just wondering which steering column wires do I need to locate for wireing up a neutral safety switch in a challenger/scorpion. Having used a scorpion as a donar for kats dodge. Normally I'd source the coil wireing (black with white stripe) from the ignition. Is this the easiest way to source it. Or...

Re: Plumbing an Astrom motor
Think what you want boys but I'm not worried if some sigma or gallant guy is pissed at me, but I can't share those dodge modified pics. This project is under lock and key until it makes its debut on the salt. Maybe next year, maybe never because I only have about 40% ownership in the car. Its a join...

Ever build it?, i guess it was too technical for here, being non mitsibishi they would of been stumped. Fit a ford Windsor motor they slot straight in.

Re: Width of Scorpion Dash?
Put a VH Charger dash in our 80's challenger, it backdates the look inside about 10yrs. Had to narrow the ends to suit plus fit the metal sub structure beneath it. Looks plenty tough. Anything is possible when it belongs to you.

Re: Plumbing an Astrom motor
Just went to the wreckers and took some pics of my own FROM THE NUMEROUS SIGMA'S IN THERE. Upon arriving home I scoped out both mills I plumbed up alike. I got em right first time. So i guess a big thankyou is in order to all of the folks here who helped me figure it out. THANKYOU ME, i owe me a bee...

Re: 83 challenger
From memory I had to weld a piece to the rear of the gearbox crossmember to extend it back an inch , and I used a different gearbox mount to lower it somewhat. I ditched the two piece tailshaft and used one from a galant instead, i perfect fit with the auto. I do so many jobs for every one else I of...

Re: how much did you pay for your engine?
They paid me $50 to take my mill away, mines a 2000 astron from a 84 I think. I brought it home in the boot of my sled. Looked cool tyed upright in there. I was laughing pretty hard as I cruised up the mainstreet deliberately slowing down to hit all of the lights. Cool I thought, a twin engine kustom.

O.k I just had a look at the firewall and it has the fuel recirculation canister on the right it has a strange lil white filter or something that the bottom hose runs through. There a filtered fuel line and another braided line that attaches to another return line making 3 from the tank. Its all ver...

Re: Plumbing an Astrom motor
It's outside and it's raining, I used all of the plumbing off a donar car so i'll have a look then, its been sitting around for 5 yrs and I finally got off my butt and bought the motor for it a few months back. Luckily it has a 3 piece hood this is alpine country so it storms pretty bad here. As soo...

Re: And so it begins. Lb Hatch
These are a neat lil ride , the interior is very cool in a American muscle car kind of way and the car has a great wedge shape. I recently bought one of these, the driveline is completely missing (no front or rear ends, motor etc) and the body is battered yet rust free. I bought it solely for the do...

Plumbing an Astrom motor
I've got a 2000 astron motor in a project, its a stocker that I have no desire to mod because the little 25 dodge lakes modified is so light. The guy I bought it off removed all of the fuel and vacuum hoses including how to plumb the emissions canister . Luckily I found the lot scattered on his shed...
