Thanks.
I'm trying to get the exact dimensions so I can make up a jig to re-drill narrow and wide blocks.
In a few months I'll have my backyard workshop built and will be able to do some machining.
Figured now would be a good time to start gathering info for these future projects.
Cheers.

Re: how heavy is GH wagon?
The Scorps are "pillarless" so they would have to reinforce the rails/doors and roof (just ask Chris how much extra the convertible Scorp weighs). Also the Scorps are slightly longer (by 60mm).516MA wrote:a 2.6 SE Sigma weighs less than a 2.6 Scorp.

A while ago I found a diagram of the Narrow Block bolt holes
I am trying to find the same type of diagram for the Wide Block.
Does anyone have it?

I'm sure the Factory workshop manual for the GH Sigmas also includes Scorpions.
What type of information are you chasing?
As Chris said, all the running gear/wiring is the same for the GH Sigmas/Scorpions except MABY the diff and gearbox, but don't quote me on that.
Cheers.

Starquestclub.com are based in the US. There is a couple of people both in Australia and the US that do a modified Magna MPI for the g54b engines. I'm looking into making a "Relatively Cheap" basic oil accumulator to help solve the oil surge issue. I already have a few of the MOROSO ACCUSUMP 3L oil accumulators, but at $500 delivered new, with all the mounts and electric solenoid, they are a bit too expensive for the average person. ...

Hi, The original sigma turbo setup was a suck through setup (carby first, then turbo, then to the engine), no computer required. There were only around 500 made back in the early 1980's so they are getting a bit scarce now. They do come up every now and then at around $1000 complete for a set in goo...

Sorry to hear the bad news. Only the outer race is there. I'm tossing up just leaving it out, bad idea? Very bad idea. The spigot bearing supports and aligns the clutch plate and the input shaft. In turn, the input shaft supports one end of the output shaft. There is a very real chance that you will...

Wouldn't it be better to have the SC away from the exhaust manifold, unless of course you are going to mount the SC on top of the engine and have it sticking through the bonnet.DragonCypher wrote:I was thinking of using them to mount a bracket for holding up my supercharger

Re: Pros/Cons removing balance shafts
TR Magna engines are known for having a higher flow pump than the sigmas. While that is good, you will destroy a genuine Magna pump just a quick as a Sigma Pump as the pump is no longer being held true with the 30cms of balance shaft aligning it now missing. While this is true, think of the forces ...

The standard setup should be switching the negative on and off, so when your ignition is on, you should get a constant +12v on one of the pins. Use the other pin for your tacho signal. If the tacho still doesn't work after that let me know, you can use a "pull up" resistor (about 3c to buy...

Hey guys Ive been told this is a Starion Hi Jet Head, and not a Magan head as I first thought. It's a US Starion "JET VALVE" head. In the US they all try to ditch them for the M6 or M7 Magna heads and then go MPI. You have the MPI setup so ditch the US head, grab a M7 one then maby put in...

Re: Hole in the head
The hole in the head is for the early EGR system. You can find the hole even in some M6 heads.
If the EGR was being used, it is most likely blocked up with carbon deposits. I have only seen 1 M7 head without this hole drilled but the cast recess was still there.
