Re: LA lancer, whats a good diff upgrade? sigma?.?.?

BIG DIFFEFENCE.

The axle on the right is out of a GJ Scorp (10 bolt diff).
The axle on the left is out of a GH Scorp (8 bolt Diff).

Re: fukd carb??

Check the Fuel Cut solenoid is still wired up (including the ground wire) and it's working.

To test it, turn the ignition on (don't start the engine) then un-plug the bullet connector. you should hear a "click" when you un-plug it and when you plug it back in again.

Question: Can I clean the drum, shoes (which have plenty of material left on them) and brake assembly with something and replace the leaking cylinder? Why bother cleaning the brake shoes. Re: Balance Shaft Removal: Pros and Cons

The balance shafts are there because of a 2nd harmonic which "bounces" the engine up and down at twice the RPM of the engine. This harmonic is in ALL in-line 4 cylinder engines but only becomes apparent at higher RPM, in the larger capacity engines. The reason they started to put them in e...

Re: Water Injection

Most water injection nozzles have a thread on them so you can puncture then screw them into a plastic/rubber/silicon piece of the intake or get a pipe bung and weld it onto a piece of the aluminum intake.

Here's an ARTICLE about where to place the nozzle.

so what happens if you put 2.6 pistons in a 2l or a 2l crank in a 2.6... youd loose a fair bit of compression height wouldnt you? You can't fit a 2.0L piston in a 2.6L block. Well actually you could but there would be about a 7mm gap between the piston and the bore. A 2.6L block + 2.0L crank + 2.6L...

With air supply any lower, you run low on pressure halfway through large panels like bonnets and wagon roofs.

Try the timing chain in a MKII Jag. You literally had to take the engine out to do it. It isn't worth it if your keeping it N/A. Don't expect much change from $1000 after you buy the parts, reco the head and auto elec wires up the ecu. I disagree. While it would cost $1000 to pay someone else to do it, if you can do it yourself, it should cost less than $700. If you get a good M6/M7 ...
