I'm wondering what is the deal with this car. It's othe only one I can find like it. I noticed the side trim is like my usdm scorpion and the bumper is different. I'd love to get my hands on the front bumper. I'm thinking about importing one, but the one im looking at looks like a normal aus one. I believe someone said awhile back these may be a euro import, but would that meanm there should be some laying around japan as well?
I will give a large bounty for one of these front ends...

hey buds im not 100% sure but that looks like a GJ sigma (maybe turbo) and the front bar looks to me as a custom one, made to look stock??
the gsr's come with a bottom lip but that one looks thinner and is moulded to the front bumper.i dont think thats a standard mitsu front end though but dont hold me to that.

To convert to the GJ style mirrors you would need the window glass, mirror and associated trim bits and also the window glass runner. This would be at the very least. Unsure if it would all bolt in at all. Might even need the window winder mechanism too.

Don't try to insure a 1984 Galant Turbo 2000 with RACV, they'll insist that it only came out with a super charger, and that the turbo is an illegal mod........
still doesnt have the front bar in the first picture??which will indcate to you that its most likely a custom one..

I did the reverse of this on the GJ panel van. took me half an hour. the front channel bolts in you will need the bailey channel from the earlier model too or new stuff. the mounting points on the rail are the same, you will just need to fiddle with the front channel to get it to wind up smoothly.

Just looks like it has the body kit option, rear wing etc, apart from that the grill, turbo logo etc is the a164, would be good to see what the interior of it looked like, and what other options it has - note though it doesnt have the yellow fog lights

well after getting some more info the car was gonna be used as parts so I didnt bother bidding on it. It was only around 1000usd, but after all the fees involved with the guy im working with it woulda been around 3000 to 3500. I'm hoping I can find another one, but these things are rare as hell in japan. I managed to find a turbo scorpion but it doesnt have original front seats, it has velour starion seats -_- along with sapporo badges from the states lol.
