alright so today i pulled the engine out of my GJ
like so, in my search of a 2.6 for my blue sigma i noticed that the gj was fitted with a 2.6 instead of a 2L as the badges say so this will be my engine for my efi build (if it happens), i then noticed this bolt
whats its do the 2L didnt have it and my mates 2.6 didnt have it either,
dose any one know why its there what it dose or what its supposed to be for?
cheers guys i know one of you will know what the heck its for

Nothing to worry about its only a oil gallery plug.
Once removed oil will just pump out of hole, so leave it alone.
Just different castings.
I use them for oil pressure (electronic) guage.

I think the 2.6T conquest took its oil feed to the turbo from that hole
GH Sigma, 16" Mesh wheels, sports steering wheel and a V8 exhaust

Better hope not. They ran the dodgy jet valves and were very prone to cracking.
