Just a quick question. Has any one seen Original Power Steering on a GH as i have just picked up a whole car and the guy i got it from said it was original from the factory, and his dad had it from new. First one i have seen.

I've never seen a GH with power steering either, but this forum keeps throwing up surprises. ;) ;)

i guess if its late in the run it may be possible as the gk came out with it? Would just mean he may have payed for power steering upgrade when buying the older model. Doesnt make sense to do it though so im inclined to think its a yarn.

More likely is the original or early owner installed it from another sigma to improve his steering.

yeah I understood that PS was an option on the GH just not at all common...

the car was a factory 2.0 auto

r58 is tape player with door speakers

I've got a GH with power steering but was fitted after factory, pretty sure they didnt come out with it from factory...

Just had a look through all my manuals can find a thing on power steer as an option or a code, But these cars have all sorts of surprises, no matter how much you think you know something new always pops up, and iv'e been messing around with these for years.
