Hey guys. I have a few ideas of what I would want the gb wagon to look like.
I will be using 15x7 b45's but they might get a change. Rear offset about a +10-0. And if I can find a lip to fit, go 16x8. I think a wheel engineer can make them to suit.
My options I have are;
Electric orange and grey b45s. Or,
Mazda 3 bright green with chrome b45s
I'd love to hear what you'd do. Just so I can a wider variety of what decisions I have
quickly done this to give you an idea of what a green GB wagon would look like, couldnt quite replicate the Mazda colour but this should give you an idea
Again not the exact colour but close
Edit:
Got Bored so i done the orange one, put it above next to the Green one for easier comparison

Bloody legend thanks Jon! If ya can. Could ya throw a set of b45S under it? An inch bigger than what on it now. (The peanut mags). Also. Yellow? White, and silver? If you can of coarse
And yea I might go grey centres as they're already grey
I used to own an XR5T focus in electric orange and when the sun hit it the colour just burst off the car. Black compliments it very well as the focus has a lot of black plastic and I know a lot of owners that paint their wheels black as well has painting any dull black plastics in deep gloss black.
That said modern colour schemes don't always work with classic cars. They'll benefit from a bit of chrome to break it up. Thats why I kept the chrome bumpers and bright work on my Zed after fitting black wheels, flares and airdam.
As for wheels, each to their own but I think simmons are played out. There's lots of vintage Japanese wheels getting around, the sales section of www.ae86drivingclub.com.au is a great place to look as is www.otomoto.com.au
Haha! I like my 114.4 pattern! nah I'm thinking ford pattern on the gb sedan. For easier rims for track days. I threw out 3 good 12 slotters yesterday! But get this! I took em off. And stamped on the inside lip of the rim. Was "not for road use 15x8.5" they had a close to 0 offset. But I didn't throw em, I stashed em!
That's interesting that they say "not for road use"
I know ROH produced the wheel for Ford in the early 70's (when the touring cars were factory production cars) and were used on the XW GTHO's (Phase I and II)
You may have stumbled onto something abit more rare than "just another 12 slotter"
You might wanna do a bit more digging on them.....see if they were for some limited production or have a slightly different casting (lightweight???)
Ok. Found the car the green I like belongs to! It's a Chevrolet spark. The colour is called cocktail green. Same as the orange on the focus. A nice vibrant green with yellow pearl. So the highlights are yellow. The orange I have does the same.
I think the focus tutto green, and black out the grill, tail light surrounds, wheels and windows. Full shiney chrome on the bumpers and window trim would look the best, IMHO ;) Ultimate green paint code is Paint Code: 9GFE5Z
Product: PPG Deltron BCM
2 Layer paint consisting of a basecoat and a tinted clearcoat.
Both are Price Group 2 (=cheap)

Yea that pic of the chev doesn't look the same! Lol. It's more vibrant then that. I like a green/yellow colour. I'll post a link. Google has changed and I can't source the pic URL to upload the pic.
Well the orange looks like its going to be the pick? There's one colour I've found. It's called acid green. It's a bright green/yellow colour from ford. The ba xr6 gloss green. Also.. It looks like the g63 could be found efi turbo??
