A73 LA 2 dr hatch
are you sure it's a hatch?
LA's never came in a hatch.
If it is a hatch then it must be a LB, or LC.

They are based on the same box as the 4 speed. I have had a few, never had a problem with them until this last one.

Shuggy I've already looked at that car-it's a 2door-not a hatch.Good for parts only-I bought a few bits. The engine and box would be ok.

The guy actually found the car in the rubbish dump and towed it home.I would have bought it if I had somewhere to keep it but it is badly rusted. To be honest I didnt realise it was a A73 but I know it had a 4g33 engine on the compliance plate. It had been built up as a rally car at some stage and fitted with the 4g32 engine and 5 speed.I just bought the headlight surrounds and tail lights.

:stupid:
but the eninge code or number isnt on the compliance plate !
just chassis numbers
so he might be talking the misubishi sticker/plaque on the inner gaurd and thay dont stand for much as there easily changed

well problem is.. car has to be running to get transport...

and i want the drivetrain haha..

i could either take out the engine and box and replace it with a shitty engineand 4 speed and then you send me back the tail shaft.. or i can take pics of everything, cut up what you want and package it all up and send it..

That casting mark doesn't have any relation to the grind.
You can only rely on what is stamped on the end.

yeh #6 we worked out to have same specs as #2 or 3 i think but was pollution spec..

dave does yours have that counterweight? coz #1's dont have it.. and the lobe is visibly bigger

Mine is a reface and regrind to No5 specs, so it wouldn't matter if it did have it or not.

thats not a no.5 cam, and thats also not a counter weight, just a bit of excess casting
